Mephisto Genetics Duckster does Mephisto

Ok so I was nosing around on somebody's journal and I ran across a link to one of @WeedMan threads concerning extracting solvent free rosin from buds using a hair straightener and parchment paper. Been looking for quick easy ways to boost the buzz without too much trouble so I figured that this would be the ticket. Took me 3-4 days to read thru the thread as there were lots of tasty pictures by @TaNg, @Ronin , and several others. Also lots of links and videos. At some point the focus changed from extracting from buds to extracting from buds and/or bubble hash. Now I am even more intrigued as I am also trying to figure out what to do with my trim. Even though I made a batch of some kick-ass brownies with some oil this past week-end, my oil and tincture jars are almost full. Needless to say the short version is, one thing has led to another and my bubble bags should be here next week just in time for my TxA harvest. Planning to use the trim from this, what I have saved, and probably some of the fluffy buds from the last grow to whip up some hash. Work schedule is a little hectic ATM, so not sure when i'll have the time. But plan to have it finished in time for mardi gras woo hoo. :woohoo:

Day 71 for the TxA. Just a few more days. The bud have done a bit of foxtailing. The last plant that did this had really fluffy buds. These are rock hard and very sticky. I think this may be my frostiest girl yet. Even the little popcorn buds way down at the bottom are covered in glitter, Me likey!

The Sour Hound is at day 11. She's up to 3.5" and coming along. Still a bit leggy for my liking with that tiny little stem. Wondering if I may have to give her some support. giving her an early dose of Rhinoskin to try strengthen her up a bit.

I thought this one was good enough to share.

A man and a woman were having a quiet, romantic dinner in a fine restaurant.

They were gazing lovingly at each other and holding hands. The waitress, taking another order at a table a few steps away, suddenly noticed the woman slowly sliding down her chair, under the table and under the table cloth but the man stared straight ahead.

The waitress watched as the woman slid all the way down her chair and totally out of sight under the tablecloth. Still, the man stared straight ahead.

The waitress, thinking this behavior a bit risqué and worried that it might offend other diners, went over to the table and, tactfully, began by saying to the man: "Pardon me sir, but I think your wife just slid under the table."

The man calmly looked up at her and said: "No, she didn't .......... she just walked in."

Damn, that's a nice cola...!

Ok so it has been decided. The misses has spoken. Told her what I was doing and that I was undecided on what to plant. She asked what the choices were. I gave her the list and she asked what is toof x alien. Told her that it was a cross between toof decay and something else. Also that is also known as toofless alien. She laughed at that and said "that's the one".

I have filled and flushed another pot and have it waiting in the wings. I have dropped a Toof x Alien (henceforth to be known as TXA) bean into a saturated rapid rooter which I will wring out in about 12 hours. And the waiting begins.

The other girls seem to have spread outward and upward since I flushed the soil. The SC is already putting out pistols and getting a nice smell to her. The DBC is showing her girly parts but no pistols or smell yet.
Barneys farm sweet toothx alien og and aruderalis to make it auto

Day 74 for the TxA. She had a couple of dry days and a bit of a pre-chop haircut. Even the little popcorn nugs in the middle are covered in frosty goodness. Getting ready to introduce her to Mr. Fiskars. Things are about to get sticky.

Ok about 6 hrs later and I'm done including all the clean-up. Had to take 2-3 DBC breaks so that kind of slowed things down a bit lolol. I ended up with a wet weight of 470g plus a bunch of really nice sticky trim for the hash bag. The main cola was 93g by itself. Only had 3 big double grocery bags so things are tighter than I'd like. Will be keeping a close eye out for mold for the next several days. The 25% rule doesn't work for me - closer to 20%. But even at 20%, I figure around 3oz. Not bad for my little 23" girl.

Sorry for the lack of bud close-ups but was kind of in a rush. Wanted to be finished before football game started. Will do some before they go in the jars. Thanks for stopping by - Enjoy

Damn Sang that slap spun my head mate. Many thanks for that. Hash making will probably be next week-end. No worries there - plan to post as many pics detailing the process as time allows. Will also post a link to the utube video that i used as a tutorial (soon as I find it again).
