Harvest & Curing Drying question

Yeah I have to buy a couple. But I'm currently broke. So there's no way I'd be able to get some before I have to jar these up.
But I did currently get a new job though (just got the call today that I passed piss test) and it's a decent paying job, so I'll have money to buy some new toys for my hobby.
Unless they do random testing, then I might possibly quit smoking/growing all together.
If you have someone of your forehands/family (not woman ) ,before the test, ask them to piss in condom(or somewhere else, but you will need to move it there) and place it in your pants pocket (it will be warm) and when you will need give the test just fill it with the staf you got in condom = 100% working method :)

Yeah I actually have some clean piss in the fridge, but with random testing they could just tell you to go test right from work, then I'd be screwed.
I have to small bottles with thermometers and nozzles on them (QuickFix bottles) that I had a relative put piss in for me. I wear my jock strap and put them in the pocket
where the cup goes. You can't tell I have them and they'd have to grab my junk to find them.
But I don't want to have to wear that everyday. Plus getting fresh piss alot wouldn't be easy. Not sure how long piss stays good if you refrigerate, then warm it up, then refrigerate again, then warm it up, etc...

Ok another question...or 2.
My stuff drying still smells pretty good, but noticed it's starting to get a slight hay/grass/straw smell to it. Is that normal during the drying process.
ALSO
I've read a few things about how plastic jars for curing isn't good. Is there any truth to that? Are plastic jars not good for curing/storage of buds?
Cause all I have are 2 big plastic jars with the rubber rings and a latches.

My drying room has a rh of 43% so does that mean I should dry for 4 days? It stays quite cold in there during winter months. I'm on my 3rd grow and have never had a good cure, weed never tasted good. It usally takes anywhere from 2-4 days to dry, depending on the density of the buds. Should I dry in a different room with a higher rh or can the rh be raised with something like a humidifier?

I dry in my grow room works fine for me fans circulate air pretty good and seems to be fine. The humidity is a little high; it takes from3 to 5 days for me. From there it use to go in to jars for at least 2 weeks with me opening to smell once or twice a day but now I like to cure in the fridge cuz I am going to start shortening my drying time to 2 to 3 days so the weed stays a little softer and the fridge keeps it from going sour on me cuz I like soft sticky weed. Also all the weed I have cured in the fridge has smelled better than the non-refrigerated stuff just seems sweater and more floral.

I am still new to this stuff and have not heard anything about curing in plastic. I use mason jars cuz everyone I know cans food and they are sized perfect for me. Some of my stuff will smell a little like hay at first when I dry it but after a week or 2 curing it will change and its true bouquet will start to come through. I started drying a few small buds of a lowryder # 1 about a day ago and there awesome smell has turned in to a hay smell but afterI cure them it will go away. My wife told me the last plant a berry ryder got better tasting more mellow smoke and a more calming high with age and the longer the cure the better it was. All though the plant only lasted 3 weeks before she had smoked it all LOL.

drying always has me nervous thinking ive gone all this way please dont let nothing go wrong....low humidity and moving air and your alright though right? :)

At harvest/curing I get nervous, Iv never had a good cure so I'm really really hoping I will get a good one one day. I suck at it.

hydrogrow,

First off, you definitly need an hygrometer, really....I even tried Boveda packs (62%, it simply sucks, always above 70%)
Drying: 45-55% & temp: 18-22Cel
Curing: 60-65% HAS TO BE, cold temp kept better (20-22 C), I keep at 62%
I do like si1984, and I add 1 or 2 days (for you 43% and the cooler the better ); I have same RH as you.
I would do 5 days, then check if 1 more needed again (usually it does...), then I put in brown paper bag for 2 days because I noticed the jar always needs to burp 2 or 3 times a day cz always at +70%
Always good results....
Now, if you worried or did not flush or just simply fucked the taste, I recommend you "water curing"
Ciao!
