New Grower Dr. Feelgood and KVS Flowering Question

Quick update - I did take pictures today, and will post those in a bit.

first of all - nice to see you back, briman! :tiphat: Hope you had a good visit!

I switched the lights over to 12/12 a couple of days ago. Although two of the plants were flowering at 20/4, the other two weren't showing anything. After doing some tetris-like calculations in my head, I realized there was absolutely no way I had the room for everything that's currently started since I'd started seeds on the basis of everything being finished in a couple of weeks.

Here's something else that is interesting - The two that ARE flowering are supposedly a KvS and a Dr. Feelgood - yet they look identical. They are the same pheno of the same strain - whatever that is! It was hard to tell earlier due to the odd branching on the one I thought was a Feelgood. It's obvious that the two that aren't flowering are also the same strain and pheno now that the mini plant has blown up. So, I didn't get what I ordered AND they mixed the seeds up. lol.

The Cheese. She's a beauty! Trichomes are 50% cloudy, but she still probably has a week or two I'd say. Damn does she smell good and stinky! The Think Different also is looking very nice.

I'll try to get pics up as soon as I can. Thanks for the help and advice. This grow has been all over the place! I just want to get through it so I can try to get a perpetual harvest going finally!

Here is the current outlay in the tent. Supposedly, the two girls in the back are KvS and the two in front are Dr. Feelgoods. However, it's the back right and front left plants that started to flower under 20/4 - and they also look damn near the same. The back left and front right plant look very similar (despite the size) and have just barely started to flower under 12/12. That tells me that the sees were mixed up when they re-packaged them for stealth shipment. Thing is, I now don't know what plant is what! Hopefully I can figure it out when all is said and done. Might have to have briman over to test it and tell me ;)

Here is (what was labeled as) the KvS in the back left corner. She's a nice looking plant. Weird colors due to LED, an old crappy flash and some tomfoolery in Photoshop.

gnarly ladies dude gettin huge!

how tall is that cheese now? it's gettin riper for ya

Hello Nordlich, had to give you some :d5:rep. for persistence. Like an old jarhead, adapt and overcome. Great looking plants as well. I hope mine look half that good. Keep up the good work. PEACE

Looks to me that your feelgood is indeed a KVS!! I would nitice that structure ANYWHERE!! I have grown out enough kvs to know!! Classic OG structure there. As far as not flowering, you got me. All are looking amazing and I love the Cheese, she looks great!!! Have to let me know how you like her. I damn near blew my eardrum out flying with a ear infection during spring break. I cant stand up for 10 seconds at a time without falling over. Glad you are rockin your grows and it looks like you have your PH thing getting better every time!! peace-briman

Thanks, redd! She's just a little over 2' tall. She didn't get as big as I thought she would, but she is packing on the weight now. I have three more White Cheese seeds. I'm trying a 5 gallon smart pot next time to see if I can coax her into getting a bit bigger. I've noticed the same thing with every Cheese strain I've grown. This current plant definitely is much more Cheesy than White Widow-y, too!

willy - Thanks, man! I really appreciate it! Yep - sometimes, you just gotta roll with things!

briman - thanks for your experienced opinion on this! I will start referring to the flowering girls as the KvS and the other two I will call the Selfish Bastards.

The White Cheese combines the best of both worlds for me. I'll put a smoke report once I give her a try. One of these days, I'll put up reports for some other strains, too. Hope your ears get to feeling better. I've learned to embrace the vertigo and treat it like a ride at Six Flags. :) And, yes, getting the Ph issue fixed has been a HUGE help! I've never had healthier plants! Thanks!

The girls are doing quite well and are flourishing. I'm actually a bit afraid that I may run out of room to raise my lights. The angles look a little wonky in the photo due to it being taken with a 16mm wide angle lens. The little girl in the bottom right has started to take off finally. She isn't flowering yet, however. She's acting just like a photoperiod would when switched to 12/12.

Here's the back left girl. She's finally started to flower. Now, if her sister up front would start so we could wrap this shit up in a month and a half or so, that would be nice!

I just finished putting up the new tents in a more climate-friendly area. Sucks to have make the switch, but once these girls get done, I'll be starting a lot of stuff for our veggie garden in the room. It will be warm enough by then.

Here's the White Cheese. I switched her over to the new tent late last night. She'll finish up under the new Blackstar Chrome 405's. Hairs are finally turning. Good thing - I'm about out of meds. Been rationing all week. It's been a shitty, painful week.

And, the Think Different on day 48, which is also in the new tent next to the White Cheese. She's doing really well, too.

I'll post another update on the KvS and Dr. Feelgoods when the flowers get a bit denser. Thanks for reading.

The tent is filling up! There may have been a mix-up with the seeds, but whatever they are, they are the most robust and healthy looking plants I've grown! They are really starting to smell good, too! I'm guessing a minimum of a month to go, probably longer.

041514 - KvS and Feelgoods - day 75.jpg

Day 75 for all 4 of the girls. The little one in front really took off and bushed out over the past week. I still am not exactly sure what I've got here. My guess is that the left front and back right girls are the Kush v. Stitch's and the front right and back left are the Dr. Feelgood's due to how they flowered. That's not how they were labeled, though, and not how they were packaged. Since I had them taken out and re-packaged, I'm sure a simple 'oops' occurred with whoever handled the order at Attitude.

I'll report back as we get closer to harvest.

Day 82. Thought I'd be harvesting by this point. Looking at another 3 weeks minimum.

at least the plants are doing really well and should produce a good harvest.

The girls ended up finishing a little quicker than I thought they would. I spent last week harvesting three of the girls and finished up with the last one today. I don't have a total weight yet, but I have about 250 grams of high quality buds, another 100 or so of bottom popcorn buds, and a ton of sugar leaf and shake. This doesn't include the girl I finished today - her branches are still hanging and drying. Probably another three days for those to be cut up and put in jars. Although each plant looked impressive, bud bulk and weight was lessened due to running the lights on a 12/12 schedule.I still can't sort out the mess that Attitude sent me so I'm not even trying to make rhyme or reason of it. Not much you can do when the seed bank mixes up your order. Just for fun, I have another (what was labeled as a) KvS on day 77 right now that has been at 18/6 the whole time. She is finally starting to fill in and flower heavily. The biggest problem is that she's nearly 7 feet tall and had to be tied down at various points to keep her under the lights. I'll report on her when she's all done - probably in a month or so. I also have another (what was labeled as a) Feelgood on day 77 and had to put her on 12/12 to induce flowering. Still not sure if they are super autos or just feminized. I'll have to wait until the cure is done to give a smoke report. I have noticed a huge increase in potency as the buds have started to cure over the past couple of days. It's usually not so pronounced with other strains I've vaped straight from the plant or while still partially wet, but is very noticeable in both the KvS and Feelgood. It seems the option to add pictures has disappeared. I've noticed the site has been having some problems lately. I'll add them if/when the option reappears. Just wanted to make sure to conclude this thread in case it helps anyone else.

I see the formatting doesn't work either.
