Smoked wings the other day, finished in fryer to crisp up skin before sauces. I had mine with the garlic parmesan butter sauce. Others had bbq or hot sauce.
Coco-Cola marinated boneless pork butts. Smoked for many hours, wrapped and made into bbq pulled pork sandwiches. Appetizer of smoked cream cheese garlic herb, green tomatoe jalapeno jam and habanero pineapple jam topped.
Now with leftovers we made pulled pork Barria tacos the other night and tonight we made two versions hatch green chili and green chili jalapeno queso for dinner tonight along with more smoked cream cheese.
Well yesterday the 25th was my birthday. Wife asked what I wanted for my dinner. The only main thing I’ve been having a craving for was Carrot Cake so she made me a quick 3 layer version with that always great cream cheese frosting. The main dinner I chose was something my kids enjoy and it’s not made often since it takes my wife more time in the kitchen than she cares to be as she ends up frying small batches at a time. So steamed white rice and the honey sesame chicken was enjoyed by all.
