Made a bunch of this soup last year as we had a good crop of beets from the garden.
I always grow beets, the greens are delicious as well. I was just thinking last night got to get the onion seeds planted indoors.

Did some smoked whole chickens and blackened broccoli on the griddle.

Nice to see some familiar cats at least lurking. Hello.

Onions and chicken with some cheese and bread.

I did some Perdue boneless skinless thighs on the kettle the other day, sort of indirect, about an hour and a half, made a mustard sauce that I slopped on in the last 25 mins. Bonkers and addicting. We ate half of em before dinner just snagging em when we walked past. Didna phone pic take dummies. Not too shabb considering it was like 20 out.

Absolutely LOVING my Weber chimney though, probably the best charcoal investment I've made yet. It absolutely destroys my no name dummy that I modified with a few more holes. The Weber model has a ton of airflow and has enough room to build a pretty serious fire.

Everyone that uses charcoal... ever....should have one of these. Just the savings in charcoal fluid pays for the thing after a handful of uses. Get yourself one if ya done don't gotta.

:crying: Weber Charcoal Chimney - I have had two for at least 25 years. I like the smell of charcoal lighter fluid on some one else's fire not mine. Don't cook my food on that nasty tastin hydrocarbon shit.

Linner.

over fire cooking is great for me but family doesn’t care for the some of the charcoal flavor it gives. I have a chimney but never used lighter fluid just paper/cardboard as starter. I need to make a mustard sauce as that sounds delicious for the chicken.
