According to the Doc himself:

a 400w would be what your needing to fully cover 6 plants.

So you might need some more light there to achieve maximum results.

I'm about to start my first autoflower grow. Low budget at the moment, so I picked up 3 SweetSeeds Fast Bud seeds from The Attitude Seedbank. Anybody have any experience with these?

Hey Doc,

1st real post on here so go easy on me,

I've been growing for a few years now but have had to downsize due to moving house, So i went out and got meself a teeny little tent (60/60/120cm).

So 1st question:-What would be my best option light wise?,,i already have a fan and filter and a spare 400w HPS lying around but worry
it'll cook the little beauties. Maybe LED i'm just not sure

2nd question:- Obv strain reliant, But how many do you think i could fit in there? This will be my 1st Auto grow and i dont wanna fuck things up.

I'm not too worried about weights (for the mo) i just wanna be running everything to its optimum and get myself a decent crop.

A 250 watt would be perfect for 60cm x 60cm. a 400w in there would need more effort to get rid of the heat. remmber 5000 lumen minimum per squar foot of grow space. the more lumens, the bigger the buds but more heat to deal with. 4 plants max in 3 gallon pots, you may need to lst (tie them down) so u got a nice even canopy.

yes a 400w will cover a 3x3 area just fine. 8 plants will be a pretty tight fit tho, it can be done , just dont let buds grow against each other cuz it could cause mold.

just a correction on your info, you dettermin the light you need by the size of space your using, the number of plants you can grow is decided upon how many can fit in that area. it wouls be possible to have 9 plants in a 3x3 area and it still would be lit the same as it would if 6 were in there. Fast bud seems to be a stable and fast auto from the grows ive seen. but i havent heard anything good about potency.

...im a 1st time grower...using auto white dwarf shot adrenaline....im using a 240w blackstar led....shes 32 days old and lapping up the led,shes real bushy and plenty of bud sites....i just a few questions....im using all-mix soil which already has nutes(noob mistake,i should have got neutral)so i only gave her some root stim first week....i havent given it any other nutes....but the leaves tips at the very top of the plant are white/yellowy colour...its been like that for about a week,hasnt spread....im watering with ph 5.8-run off with soil is 6.1-6.4...should i be worried??????

My plant was transplanted twice. It is now 4 inches tall, and four weeks old. Is has developed the small white hairs and is starting to smell. Should I keep the veg light on it to try and get it taller, or is it time to put in the flowering light to develop the bud well?

Only a few days ago it started growing very quickly

My question is:I got a 2auto strains and they didn't preflower at 35days.So i'm a little nervous about it.Can you please give me some advice?

My plant was transplanted twice. It is now 4 inches tall, and four weeks old. Is has developed the small white hairs and is starting to smell. Should I keep the veg light on it to try and get it taller, or is it time to put in the flowering light to develop the bud well?

Only a few days ago it started growing very quickly

Is it a auto or photo?

what strains? some auto strains seem to need a jumpstart, you can increase the dark period to induce flowering then reduce it back a week or so later to keep weight up it will keep flowering if its a true auto

using pre nuted soil is bad news, i wouldnt nute at all and dont flush it becuz the nutes are released when watered. just water with plain water the entire grow im thinking

autos need 20/4 light, but it your asking if u should go to red spectrum then YES switch

id be worried, sounds like they are unstable genetics,or are you growing outdoors in shitty conditions? what u growing?

thanks for your reply....do you think this will be a problem when i have to flush the plants before harvest...maybe there could be nutes still in the soil????
