Grow Mediums DP Colorado Cookies + Brooklyn Sunrise in Autopots + GN HS1 & Mars Reflector LEDs

Thanks @john0108 & @2Stoned2Care. Time will tell.

I have a feeling that I put to many clay pebbles in the bottom of my Autopots. I didn't cover the Airdomes completely but still think it's too much. I have devised a cunning plan though. Autopot sells the Aquabox Spyder system for raised beds. It utilises an aquavalve and wicks to spread moisture through the bed.

I bought a roll of the wick material with my Autopots, thinking it might come in handy.

I'm thinking of pushing strips of it into each corner of a pot, all the way into the clay pebbles. This should wick the moisture into the coco much better, and get the whole system to work properly. What are your thoughts?

Day 28 update. I've pushed wicking material into each corner of the Autopots and refreshed the solution in the reservoir. Same strength nutrients as the previous res. I've also top watered the three bigger plants with nearly 2L each.

I know i am new to autopots and growing in general but i have to disagree with that theory now even though i never put alot hydroton in the bottom, its all about the roots bro if your plants are big enough when you turn the pots on there will be no problem at all.i have seen with yours and meefs you had slow growth with your girls to start so the roots were not established enough when the pots got turned on so the wicking through the roots was a struggle.i read a thread from a guy who has been using the autopots for 10 years and fills his pots half way with hydroton and never has problems because he leaves his girls at least 3 weeks(or 12 inch high)before turning the pots on.i will try this next grow to prove or disprove this.

That's very interesting and ties in with pictures I've seen of autopot rootballs where most of the roots are in the bottom clay pebbles surrounding the airdome. That should make for an interesting grow if you try it out.
