Purple Chongo ladies, they have a extreme vertical branch growth..these where planted 8-1-2017 I only trimmed a few lower branches and transplanted them. they are becoming great plants for a S.O.G style grow the more i breed them:View attachment 821735 View attachment 821736 View attachment 821737 View attachment 821738 View attachment 821739 View attachment 821740

Hey Mongol, yes the seedlings are new auto flowers I've been working on. Their a landrace sativa/auto cross I made sometime back. They still need a lot of work. this is a test grow to see how they preform...as for the vertical growth I breed for in the Purple Chongo, I did it to be able to fit many plants in tight spaces and get sticks of bud with little to no branching.. there is some down sides though, some of the branching is so slow to grow it makes it hard to take clones if any at all, most of the time I have to take only a few very small clones. Better to have lots of seeds to start with.

Thanks Archie gemmill I appreciate it man, I like that male too. definitely going to keep him around he has a lot of desirable traits I'm after.

got some pics of the autos, they had a nice growth spurt i felt was worth showing. planted them 14 days ago. i know there's auto out there that start flowering by day 14..hoping for around the 4 week mark. i'lll be checking daily.

Aha, i was here and liked and saw the unlike thing clearly, then returned and have to like again? hm, afn system does strange things!
anyway DOG, i love what you are doing here and i have to say, that i was always buying my seeds to grow, but you encouraged me to try something new and make a little step into the breeding thing! have 3 beans of this years outdoor grow from autos, how can it be? will they perform? it was just a accident, LOL!
