DOGS LIFE indoor

Thanks for the update man. Sorry to hear about the white flies, it happens to the best of us. I'm really liking the structure, nice spaced out nodes. Can't wait to see the next round.

yeah their a real pain man. some plants handled it better then others for sure. seeds of this same sativa auto will be planted as soon as possible.

this morning i took some samples from two plants. they've been fast drying outside for a few days, i just couldn't wait. the smoke is very harsh, the taste and smell is very sativa like. the menthol smell is there but faint. now the high is a great sativa buzz, not racy though. very clam but heady. makes the mind wonder/day dream bud. this project will go on for sure.

some bud shots, really enjoying the affects of this strain.

This is a fun fanfuckingtastic breeding thread, I love it!
Not just the fun of joining along, but good technique.
Really gotta do hundreds of seeds to pheno hunt.
The more choice the better the selection.
What is the situation with the eight ladies selected from the first breeding round?
Did you just leave the daddy plant in there with the fan on?
You must have got a truck load of seeds, hundreds? thousands?
What are your criteria for selection?
You mentioned a couple, but what else, like color, yield, strength?
Don't know if you've got the space, but can you split the line?
Do one F2 selection for strength, say, and another F2 for color and other qualities?
Run those each a few generations, then cross them back, getting common strains in the new hybrid vigor F1?
And then looking for the winners of F2 again?

Haha, Maria really wants to know all of it, you'll be impressed what DOG is growing outdoors this season in his garden

thanks for the interest @Maria Sanchez, so let me answers some of your questions: only seven of the eight females/keepers left. one couldn't handle the stress of the bugs. the male is dead now, he droped pollen on them and made 1000s of seeds ( can never have too much) he also got the auto sativas as well. (another project i guess) i do split the lines for different traits. I'll inbreed one line a generation or two then switch back to the other. as for criteria, i like to look for potency, effect, yield, size, bag appeal, also the plant has to be strong in the sense that it can handle some stress and bounce back, out grow bugs, low light conditions. etc. those plants always stick out to me. thanks for stopping by and for the interest.
