Extraction Does it need to be an alcohol tincture to work

Ok, soooooo I had this bud sitting around green crack. It got fucked up to say the least, and never finished but I harvested still. Got to big was in my lights and fried trich and plant. So wasnt many trichs but some couldnt smoke, leafy and have to smoke to much. I pressed rosin from it but only got like 2-3 dabs from like 5g's. Not worth the effort. Looking at it in the light you can see the trichs at the bottom. Got more than I though glad I saved it.

I will reclaim 80%-90% to help cut cost. Into the freezer at -10°f to winterize. Not sure helps with tincture, works on bho so do just incase. After, well let's be honest I'm not sure how long it will be in there, but I will then use a coffee filter for final cleaning. Then into distiller to take the alcohol back. I will then add to honey and may add some lecithin in mbm and make honey, it should be more fluid from the alcohol and should pass some sublingual option even if it not full strength. I could always add crown royal instead of honey and do that sublingual, it's only 70-80 proof. Want to look at the endless encyclopedia that is the internet and leave no stone unturned! Gummies are kicking in lol. Anybody got ideas let's hear them... but sublingual thoughts I know about edibles, I can just decarb a bud if I want an edible its stronger than infusion anyways.

Title says it all. I want to take a tincture sublingual, but I dont want alcohol. I tried alcohol and it mess my mouth up lol, it actually burned my mouth under my tongue. Was not fun at all and dont want to mess with alcohol. Not good for ya and with how much I would take would add up. I heard that for it to work sublingual it must be alcohol. Is that true? Can anyone verify 1 way or the other? I want to make tincture in mbm2, add either honey or VG, reclaim my alcohol or most of it. I can add honey/VG after not sure if it would burn in my distiller. So there would be some alcohol, I would get as much out as I can tho. Would this work sublingual? I eat gummies but take 2hrs like a clock with me so want something with a slightly more of a instant gratification lol. Anyone have experience with this?

No. I soaked overnight not in freezer, had some still decarbing when went to bed so couldnt put mbm in freezer. I ran in my mbm for almost 6hrs. That's what that is in pic. I filtered through coffee filter in freezer. I may reclaim alcohol today or tonight.

Awe lucky! Lol I want 1 but that's to much for now. Sorry I'm new to this what Etoh stand for hahaha? I've only done it once and only made gummies but were very good. So after I reclaim alcohol is that RSO? That's what I thought it was but just started so sorting it out lol.

Yes it is RSO. 6 hours in the mbm2 is a long time. Look this site over and see another way to get those trichomes washed out.

For tinctures and edibles, I always use a bit of lecithin. I think it helps with extraction, and it certainly helps with absorption.

Oh, i have seen this its looks to be the best hands down. But it was like 600 US maybe 700 cant remember and dont have that kinda cash for it yet. I'm a stay at home dad so I dont spend family money on my hobby. I use money from xmass and birthday, I used to cut neighbors grass lol. I'm now collecting metal to add to my funds. I have collected some toys but cant grab that yet. Once my state goes rec job will be out there and I will then look to get a job in the cannabis world. At that point when make money I can then spend for something like that, and it is on the list. If it came down to like 300-400 I would be able to save that up, but I have a seed buying addiction so that uses most of my money lol.
