Grow Mediums Does anyone use soil in their AutoPots?

Here's my best indoor organic plant. A dutch Passion Auto ultimate, grown in a 15 gallon tote of my KISS mix organic soil, given only water the entire grow, no supplements, no teas. Even chopped early due to spidermites, i took 312 grams dry from her.

Biotabs and autopots are the best growing decision I've taken.
My brain doesn't deal well with multiple feed cycles etc and because grow perpetual autos I can have many plants at differnt stages.
Honestly can't see me changing from either any time soon

Are you using just the tabs, or the whole line? I had debated just ordering the bucket with 100 tabs in it. I’d love to just shove a few tabs into a pot of soil and fill my res with just water maybe some calmag since I use COBs.

Are you using just the tabs, or the whole line? I had debated just ordering the bucket with 100 tabs in it. I’d love to just shove a few tabs into a pot of soil and fill my res with just water maybe some calmag since I use COBs.

You should have at least the items in the starter kit to make the tabs work properly.

I've done both but I mostly just use 3 tabs in each 15l autopot.
If I remember I'll add the liquid after a few weeks but most of the time I forget and just use the tabs

@HemiSync I understand that using the items in the starter kit would be best, as they were made to work together. I’ve also seen Mephisto mention that they use just the tabs in their autopots with soil on the farm when doing large runs. Granted, I’m sure in their case it’s to simplify and streamline the process when growing out 1000s of testers rather than to maximize the potential of only a couple of plants. I seem to recall seeing others posting about using only the tabs and having decent results but I never looked further into it.

@Ivean have you got any kind of journal, or perhaps could share some photos or any further info on the results you are seeing when using just three tabs per 15L pot?

I cant get an answer anywhere in regard to if the Mephisto Amendment is still available. Guess I will check other options. Maybe I will just keep it simple and do Fox Farms Ocean Forest on the bottom half of pot and Happy Frog on the top.

Have you contacted @gbd in regards to the soil amendment? That’s who you’d want to talk to.

I’d love to see someone running it in autopots with good results. @water farm has a journal going right now with some amazing plants grown in 3 gallon pots using the amendment.
