New Grower Does anyone have any experience with Med Gom 1.0?

Depends on the strain. Medical mass is supposed to be somewhere around 11%cbd 10%thc. When smoked \vaped there is a slight head buzz reduced back pain for me but it's a very focused high. I'm currently taking RSO I made with medical mass and it's even better. I've noticed massive change in my sleep patterns and daily energy levels. I'll make some cookies this week with medical mass butter. The critical Cure has like 5%thc 9%cbd. I find this strain more suited to first time users or medical patients who are either very young, or elderly. It's been great for patients with chronic migraines and parkinsons. I will keep you posted for sure man.

I have used Ever clear a few times. It works okay . But now I use a product called KleenXtract. It's 200 proof organic grain ethanol. Works great, 0% water . It's the only thing I use now for alcohol extractions.

OK, so this morning I tried a vape full of my high CBD Shark Shock all by itself. And I'm following that up with another vape of it now. For me it's just a very low grade buzz. I can't attest to its medical properties since I don't have chronic pain etc. It seems a little rushy at the outset, I get a little anxiety maybe but that quickly melts away. It seeps through the body and relaxes you and then is just kinda sits there in the background. You know it's there but it really doesn't impair you in any way. For me the whole thing was done in under 2 hrs, so I would need to hit this regularly during the day if it was all I had.

When mixed with something else(so far that's been Emerald Triangles Bubba 76, a very recomendable strain) it just seems to mellow the buzz out. It doesn't really change the effect from the Bubba, but makes it more manageable. You don't seem so immobilized as when you wack down some straight Bubba. That's the bedtime slam, 2 vape bowls of straight Bubba and within the hour your down for the nite.

I think I will stick with Everclear 190 for this first run. I checked out Kleenxtracts site and it is a little pricey, so until I am more comfortable with the process, I'll run to the liquor store.

Do high CBD low THC buds produce dense vapor clouds, or not?

Med Gom smoke report:

I cut a bud early due to mold, trimmed the offending areas, and tossed the remainder in a paper sack. Three days later into a jar, and cured for just a couple days. Drying was perfect, curing insufficient.

I loaded a fat bowl, and here is my review:

Smell: PINE! Big pine smell, really foresty and pleasant.

Taste: Like it needed to cure more! I think with proper curing, it will taste as it smells.

High: Yes, I did get high. Kind of a lazy indica stone, but very clear and manageable. Something I would definitely recommend for lightweights, but unfortunately not really my favorite. This is how strains like Harlequin and Critical Cure have effected me as well.

As for medicinal value, cbd strains seem to have little effect on my muscle tension or anxiety. So, par for the course for me.

Bottom line: Super compact plant. Will yield up to 2 oz if grown well of quality piney bud. Expect results similar to other high cbd strains such as Critical Cure.
If that sounds like what you are looking for, go for it.

I may grow more in the future to smoke at parties, but I find these high cbd strains really don't do much for me.

And yes, I see no difference in vapor production between the various strains.

This is prob a month late and a buck short... but... I am growing a Medgom. It is short, mine is 14 or 15 inches tall.
It is a picky eater, it took a while for me to find the groove. It likes light nutes, and mine is fussy about the amount of light.
It took a few tries before I found a distance from the grow light it liked. Which was only a few inches off the ground.

Having said all that, it's laying on a bunch of buds, and it looks like they will be nice and fat.

Good luck man. I just popped one the other day and it's about an inch tall. So your ahead of me on that one. So far it looks very healthy

I finished two MedGOM 1.0's last summer in my first grow. Cured them well and they produce a very pleasant vape - I use a Plenty by Storz&Bickel (love it). There is a little head high which lets me know I have some medicine in my system but its perfectly comfortable and clear headed. No problem getting things done or remembering why I came into this particular room. Body-wise I get calm and relaxed and content feeling. Keep going and I still have a functional head but I get what I can describe a "rubber bones." Very relaxed but not couchlocked or uncoordinated (any more than usual). When rubber-boned, I notice a significant reduction in joint pain and increased ease of motion, i.e. looser.
My favorite use is to do an ethanol extraction and take some oil under the tongue and secondly to add the extraction to a salve and apply to the offending joint. Works wonders for loosening a stiff knee.
From my grow notes:
Harvested on day 83. Got 31.1 g and 38.4 g of dry bud plus some very useful trim. Sticky, citrus and pine smell, pleasant vape. Plants were only 10 and 11 inches but dense. Kept a fan on them and escaped without any mold. Grown in Promix BX with Roots Organic Grow and Bloom primary nutrients and some Big Swell and Trinity later on.
Have one seed left and will definitely grow again.
