New Grower Do you think these Thai Fantasy plants are autos or not?

it seems they took a while to start , but they "should" finish a bit quicker then you would expect from a similar photo variety

Thanks mate. If they do finish and the bud is any good I think it could be an awesome variety since I'm too used to small dwarf autoflowering plants that don't really yield very much at all.

One mistake I made is not putting them in bigger containers. They are in 19L smart pots but they could be quite happy in twice that, easily. At least I know for next year.

My photo plants always preflower a good bit before I put them into flowering. It never leads to anything.. I think its kinda like puberty.. not having babies yet but could be. Now the Autoflower ive grown flowered so fast you cannot really differentiate preflower and flower.. autos put out bud so fast that once she starts putting out calyx, they just keep coming and form buds. My photo plants always put out just one or two calyx per node as soon as it old enough as if to say Hey! I'm a girl!!

exactly that's what I meant.... I'm no good with words either but these look like flowers to me unless someone wants to argue about calling these 'pre-flowers does it really matter? I have grown a couple of these so I think I should know how they grow they don't pre-flower they just start making flowers/buds/from the tip of the top to the bottom of the stem and they get big, fat and plentiful no matter what the 'book' worms call it..now let's not argue over tomatoes-tomatos

thankfully they are smart pots , ive always been too cheap and go mega big pots , but then thinking about it , i spent more on the soiless mix that way lol

what are 'pre flowers' never heard that one..... when I see anything but a leaf developing on a stem I call it flowering.. or WTF is this?...this is what I call 'baby' buds on the move! ...some call this flowering... some call it done!

for such a top notch grower, I would think you would know what pre flowering is...Oh ya I forgot your a fairly new grower your self? and one more thing for a guy that has argued with about anyone and everyone that contradicts him, you have no leg to stand on telling people lets not argue!!!!

Bud head this is what I am referring to when I talk about pre-flowers.

Theres no way from the first picture that you could see preflowering.. it may have been the rapid production of leaves and nodes at the top to get ready for colas that your saying is flowering. Now the last picture is a perfect rep of preflower calyx.

please do not say a plant does not pre flower , just because you missed it or do not know what you are looking at does NOT mean it isnt happening

imo you need more experience before giving advice , this isnt the first thread you have proven that in

This is just a picture of a pistil. This shows you that your plant is a female! Congrats on the lady.
