I bought five Thai Fantasy Max Autos from Kannabia Seeds in the original breeder pack. All five germinated and have been growing into healthy plants. They suffered a bit of LSF which they are recovering from and a bit of N deficiency but it's nothing I can't handle.

Anyway, they were planted on the 25th May, and now it's the 4th August. Although there are female pre-flowers now visible, apart from that there is absolutely no sign of flowering whatsoever. On the website it says it takes up to 75 weeks and if that is the case, should the plants have not started to flower quite some times ago? Because at this rate in a couple of weeks the other photoperiod plants will start flowering anyway and it's starting to look like choosing autos over photos was a poor decision since the whole point was to get a slightly earlier harvest. I'm wondering whether there was some sort of mistake made. Either that or I've got it wrong somehow. Any input would be great.

Here's a pic of the plants:

This strain takes along time to grow even though they list it as Auto doesnt mean it will finish early only that it will flower under 20hrs of light. Next time choose an Auto that finishes in we'll say 70 days or so then you can get an early harvest.

they look like they're just starting to flower ...may 25-aug 3 = a little over 60 days.... you still have min. another month to go but I would probably go 2 months

I always judge the 'time' from the companies as such they say "flowering 8 -14 weeks".... I go by 8-14 weeks after it starts to bud!

You are totally correct. If anyone harvests by what the comapanies say you'll have crappy weed. My Short Riders took over twice the time Nirvana said they'd be done. Gotta go by Muddy's advise. Wait till all the fanl eaves yellow up and die. The color of the fan leaves as they mature are the same time the tris change. You gotta at least expect a 12 to 14 week flowering period. That's been my way of knowing. Yellow/Dying leaves mean the tris are changing to cloudy/amber.

Your correct on that BudHead that is what they mean when they say flowering time 8-10 weeks that means once it starts flower not from start to finish a lot of people get that mixed up.:stylez rasta smoke:

so plan on 8-14 weeks from bud always! just so you know a basic time frame your working within ....sure you can cut them in 6 weeks but I like to 'let them go, as long as they grow'

This is a big reason I love HighRise Gear Cres is honest and what he says is exactly what it does I have grown 4 different strains from him and all of them did what he said it would. :Piggy Hug:

I believe this strain is more akin to a super auto than a dwarf. While I've not grown this specific strain, I've grown others from the breeder LBH that also contain some Thai Haze genetics. They are basically faster finishing photo strains and contain no ruderalis. While they did show flowering on a 20/4 light schedule, they really did not flourish until they were either put under 12/12 or moved outdoors. I would expect them to take around 110 - 120 days to finish if that's the case.

id be upset if my autos (super or not) werent flowering after a lil over 2 months , even my super cali haze was flowering by then under 24/0 , they did take a good 120 days , i didnt count or keep track , but yes they took a long time

peace
