New Grower Do I Have Bugs?

I did email Mars customer service (and sent pictures) and CS said I could ship it to them for repair but since it was less than 30 days old it was less hassle at the time to return it for a refund with no shipping charges... Now the clock is ticking because I know the 2ft T5 isn't going to be enough to see this grow through... my plants are on week 5... I took a picture of both plants together but I'm determined to never post a sideways or upside down picture... I'll keep working on it though...
@MarshydroTina may be able to help?

I, personally, would go with the flexibility of 2 Mars300's. You can also get pretty decent side lights much cheaper. You can slowly buy them one a month as the plants grow. I use 36w led's. They're $19 at Amazon and need a $7 poece with the cord and clip.

I really did like the LED for the 8 days I had it... maybe I'll replace it with 2 smaller ones... just not sure yet...

I knew the pistols were a sign of female but it looked like little bulbous thingies on the bottom of them... thanks for the confirmation...
Once it's blooming, you'll see these little balls. If they are covered in resin and have two pistils, usually dark and not white pistils, those are not male sacs. ;)

Is this what a female is supposed to look like? Looks kind of bulbous to me...

Those are what build a bud. Look as the buds are forming and you will see that those same female parts will swell and open. It is where you get the "hairs" from. After they mature they begin to turn red or orange and then as the bud swells the hairs get sucked in and that is one way to tell if about where the plant is in development.

Ooooh, she's building buds... :)

Which one would you recommend for just two plants?

I've thought about getting two 300's and putting one plant under each one... that way if one gets taller than the other I can adjust... or do you have to adjust as often with an LED? how far to put it above the plants is still a mystery me even after spending countless hours reading websites, forums, reviews...

My husband doesn't want me to get another LED, that's why I'm dragging my feet... I'm thinking about a 2ft x 2 ft 16 bulb T5... it is supposed to put out 40,000 lumens I think that might be an exaggeration, but for only 2 plants it might be okay... I was very happy with the Reflector 96, but with a T5 at least we know what to do if a bulb burns out... with an LED all I could do was cry... (that's not a joke, I did tear up when I knew I had to send it back...)
I'm going to set up my second box with 4 ft t5..
My friend does a complete grow with them I got to say they are not bad.
His plants are happy and the buds are hard.

Thanks for that info... my biggest fear at this point is light airy buds... I'd not be disappointed with medium density though... :)

I think mine are stretching too much... I should have gotten more than 4 bulbs but I'm going to use the T5 to veg 2 plants while 2 are in flower under another light(s)...
