New Grower Do I Have Bugs?

A couple of my own leaves had this sort of damage early on, but it didn't come to anything. Try look at the underside of leaves with a magnifying glass or jewellers loop. I also have 2 marshydroo 300w LED and for the price, they're great. Cheaper on ebay

I did get a magnifying glass and by golly I'm having a hard time using it... maybe I need a telescope...

but no warranty on the ebay lights. I really took a hard look at the lights on ebay....same lights, same company, etc. But, if a warranty (ie: return-ability) is what you're looking for, I would steer clear of ebay.

(it is worth it to note that I'll probably buy a few lights from them on ebay in the future, as the quality is great. )

Odd for me to say as an eBay affiliate, but I don't buy from eBay... buying from Amazon was a blessing in my case since my LED stopped working after about 8 days... Amazon took it back no questions asked since I was within the first 30 days...

I have a bunch of Mars300's and yesterday I received a 600 that is working great in my veg nook. :)

Which one would you recommend for just two plants?

I've thought about getting two 300's and putting one plant under each one... that way if one gets taller than the other I can adjust... or do you have to adjust as often with an LED? how far to put it above the plants is still a mystery me even after spending countless hours reading websites, forums, reviews...

My husband doesn't want me to get another LED, that's why I'm dragging my feet... I'm thinking about a 2ft x 2 ft 16 bulb T5... it is supposed to put out 40,000 lumens I think that might be an exaggeration, but for only 2 plants it might be okay... I was very happy with the Reflector 96, but with a T5 at least we know what to do if a bulb burns out... with an LED all I could do was cry... (that's not a joke, I did tear up when I knew I had to send it back...)

Is this what a female is supposed to look like? Looks kind of bulbous to me...

I just bought a jewellers loop recently and now wish I had bought a much bigger one:doh:

I have my 2 marshydro 300w in a 80x80x160cm tent with two plants. I bought one from Amazon at around £85 and the other from ebay at about £60. For the money they're great. I haven't had reason to contact customer service, but I do know they are excellent and also have a link on this forum for people with any questions/problems. My plants seem happy. The first one is rather small, but that was due to my own mistakes. The other plant is now just under 3ft tall, which is basically my height limit. I would die if anything went wrong with the light!

I did email Mars customer service (and sent pictures) and CS said I could ship it to them for repair but since it was less than 30 days old it was less hassle at the time to return it for a refund with no shipping charges... Now the clock is ticking because I know the 2ft T5 isn't going to be enough to see this grow through... my plants are on week 5... I took a picture of both plants together but I'm determined to never post a sideways or upside down picture... I'll keep working on it though...

I, personally, would go with the flexibility of 2 Mars300's. You can also get pretty decent side lights much cheaper. You can slowly buy them one a month as the plants grow. I use 36w led's. They're $19 at Amazon and need a $7 poece with the cord and clip.
