That is similar to what I do.

After several different methods from paper bags to a dehydrator with no heat, I settled on using a small grow tent with a 4 inch inline fan exhausting out. This work great in my humid environment.

I found that blowing in dried too fast and lost some small amount of smell and flavr. Exhausting out instead seems just right!!!!

No doubt using the fan to exhaust out is the way to go ,
6 days in still smelling strong getting ready to put the popcorn buds in a jar, stems are snapping as we speak.

So how do yo7 power the case fans? I build computers and have some extras, but not sure how you can hook a case fan into a wall socket.

I use a 12 volt trickle charger. Larger chargers sometimes work, but sometimes the load is too small to wake them up. A decent trickle charger that can put out a couple amps can run multiple fans easily. I really like the computer fans for stirring things in my growdrobe as well. The small size is nice.
