Photoperiod Dinamed CBD (25:1) - my first photo grow

So already I can confirm Dinamed is great. Last night at 8pm, I pinched off one of the leaves at the stem. It was about 30% frosty.

I put it in mouth and chewed it for about 5 minutes. It was kinda spicy...lol...like black pepper.

About an hour later I noticed the CBD kicking in.

I went bed at 11, my usual time. At that point the CBD effect was about 2 to 3 times what I normally feel when I have CBD oil in morning coffee.

This morning still feeling the effect, albeit diminished, I decided to skip the morning CBD.

Hi Tricycleofdoom:

Just read your thread on Dinafem Dinamed. looking to grow some in the near future. The CBD in this plant must be huge because just like THCa needs decarboxylation to become THC so does the CBDa to become CBD. Some decarbing takes place environmentally and that must be what you experienced. Just think what this will be like when harvested and decarbed - wow I want some.

The plants look great. Keep up the good work.

Subbed :pop:.

Great- Subbed. Good to see the plants growing and a bit of early feedback about the strain. I can hardly wait until they are dried, cured, and smoke-reviewed!

Hi Man.

I was surprised but then again I typically only need small doses. I could probably get by with just one ounce per year infused into a few cups of oil...lol. But im finding cannibas seems a gateway drug to gardening :)

Hi VitaMan :)

They should be ready to harvest on the 12th of Nov. and cured 3 to 4 weeks later.

I had to get a new carbon filter. My original was 2 years old and could keep up with the aroma..lol. I'm a bit nervous as my duct hose was slightly too small for the new canister. I left the fan off while I went to home depot to get another hose. Temps went up to 85f from 70f. Was like that for about a hour. I should have turned off one of my 2 lights. Hoping I didn't stress them too much.

After trying to correct the nutrient burn. I decided to just drop the amount by 1/2 since flushing starts next week.

Hi.

I've just grown a few auto's over the last 2 years and been trying different strains for my mental illness (moderate to severe anxiety/depression). I tried CBD oil a few months ago and I was amazed at how it changed my physical and mental state; without getting ripped in the process. It also gives me the mental space to negotiate daily trigger situations with ease. I'm lightweight. One dose is just a one hitter and that will last me 2 to 3 days.

So I'm focusing on CBD grows now. :)

Will add more posts this evening with details and photo for the 2 seeds I've started.

Thanks.

Hey, glad I found your journal; I'm pretty much in the same situation w/ depression/anxiety, and I'm impatiently waiting to finish my current grow so I can start my CBDs. From all I've researched, I'm convinced that it's going to help significantly with stress and anxiety. I've got one little Cannatonic growing now, so I will get to experiment with it a little bit!!
