Dinafem Doom's DinaMed Auto CBD grow

Thanks.

Just ordered a USB microscope (Carson zOrb), to help me detect the transition to amber trichomes. Will post trichome pics as she reaches the finish line:)

Good call my friend

Just before the trichomes Amber would be my preferred harvest window :pass:

Especially for peak CBD values :bong:

Not long now mate

All the best

Week 9.

Took many pictures but my hand was a bit unsteady. These 3 are best of the bunch.

All from to very top of the main cola. :)

Week 10 as of today.

Amber trichomes are starting to appear on the main cola. Everywhere else, they are cloudy. So this is it. Chopping her tonight if I have time. If not then tomorrow night. She's been off food for 10 days and it's just starting to show in the leafs.

Here's the final pics...

Going to try water curing this time around. Will change the water once per day for 5 to 7 days; depending on when the water is nearly clear. The dry in my tent for 2 days.

What is this 'Water Curing' you speak of?
Sounds like Witchcraft to me...

First of all congratulations on the successful Dinafem harvest on the AFN platform :pass: and that's not a bad weight at all. Yes, this has only been drying for 2 days so will still be retaining a lot of moisture but there must be 125-140g once fully dry :slap:

Now, water curing can be tricky but when done correct the end product is outstanding.

This will be interesting and I can't wait to read the outcome from this water cure experiment:pass:

Please keep me posted on this and we would love your thoughts on the end product once fully cured of course :bong:

Thanks for the diary and continued updates really appreciate mate

Until the next one :pass:

All the best

Mark..

Thanks Mark.

I hope the water curing works out.

So I've read there are some pros and cons to this.
Cons: removes flavour, lowers final weight and terrible bag appeal.

Pros: odorless after drying. Odorless while smoking. Ultra smooth smoke.

Meh..

I value the odorless aspect primarily.

Here's some pics of my 2 buckets. I use the hand strainer to gently transfer the buds to the clean water each night. And I have a blue planter that works well at keeping the buds submerged.
