Photography Dinafem White Widow Auto Day 65, getting BIG

OK, update as promised: Day 110 and it's still building buds...white pistils being produced at many points resulting in some crazy foxtailing...older bud areas getting extremely heavy and I've had to tie it into a big bunch of stalks to keep it from splaying out and collapsing under its own weight...there are at least 14 colas, each about a foot long, and the "popcorn" buds throughout the lower areas have built some good size as well...trichomes still mostly clear, fan leaves just now beginning to show a little yellow on a few, obviously still a while to go... I'm thinking definitely six, maybe eight cured ounces from this sucker....we will see...I will update at chop time...Green Karma to all my AFN Buds...:peace:

Those ladies look damn fine. If you pull 6-8 ounces you deserve a round of applause, would be an epic yield.

thanks for the comments my friends! This plant was grown in a 4ftx4ft space which it shared with 3 other plants (barney's critical rapido). I harvested the rapidos already and got over 8 ounces of dried prime buds and about two more ounces of popcorn lower buds from the three plants. With what the widow will produce, we'll be well over a pound from the 4x4 space. Single 400 watt HPS with a couple of small 26w daylight cfl's to brighten up the shady corners. I'll post pics of the chop when it comes....still perhaps a couple of weeks off...we are at day 115 right now...DWC and 24 hour light surely extends the growing season of these autos and can result in some extra large yields.

Defiantly gonna give less plants a try next grow...you and medic have sold it to me lol praying I can get similar results to you both. 8oz plus whatever this white widow gives will certainly be impressive

:gthumb: Excellent plants.

Perhaps a smoke report of the dried cured buds Mikey? Alwasy nice to know you enjoy the end product. Will be nice to see some pics of the crop, no doubt i'll be jealous as hell.

Excellent job bro, amazing!

You def made the most out of your 4x4x4X400 grow, really impressive for a first attempt and the fact that Ww was a freebie? Doesn't get much better than that.:booya::group:

I appreciate the comments my friends! I promise chop pix and smoke report will be forthcoming, as well as a final tally of how much the little room produced! Needless to say I'm very pleasantly surprised with the results of this first effort. Other than a couple of very minor glitches, nothing went wrong during the entire grow, and I wasn't counting on that! Also, I just have to say, the Dinafem white widow auto is no problem to grow and has the potential of being a F*CK!NG MONSTER under 24 hr light and in a large DWC bucket. Mine could have filled the entire 4x4 if I had let it assume its natural shape. Instead, it spent the last half of its life trussed and tied up into a crowded vertical bundle to keep it off the Critical Rapidos, which were a lot shorter. I've read comments to the effect that most of Dinafem's range tends toward the gargantuan when given perfect conditions, and my experience with this lone freebie seed seems to support that. Keeping my fingers crossed as far as quality goes....has a great smell on the fingertips after touching it so may be OK...certainly quantity is outstanding.

Looking forward to the smoke report and interested to see how the Dinafem White Widow Auto turns out. It's on my 'bucket grow list' along with a load of others. I've grown there Critical photoperiod strain before and that was a monster!!!

Another Update

All right, it's been a little more than a week since the last pics....Colas are starting to get so heavy that the only thing holding them up is the string tying them to the wall! They are bending right over the string but continue to grow upside down or sideways as the case may be. I can no longer remove the net pot lid from the bucket because of this situation, so it's only fresh pH'd water added to the bucket daily from now on. She was consuming 2 gallons a day which dropped to one gallon a day with the recent light cycle change. Still throwing some white pistils and foxtailing like crazy as you can see, so a few days ago I started running the lights 12/12 to try to bring things to an end here....we're at roughly 120 days and I think this girl would have flowered forever on 24 hr lighting. It seems to be frosting up a little more since starting to cycle the lights so that's a plus too.

Also in the last week I've noticed some developing seeds where I pollinated a few lower branches a while back. (I rooted some cuttings at about day 30, raised them in another area, and treated them with colloidal silver to get some pollen. I pollenated the branches about 3 weeks ago.)
