Dinafem Dinafem White Cheese (1st grow)

View attachment 412390
Ok peeps I said no more updates but I'm off work today and during my research into lighting and reflective material and ways to increase yield I found that my taped up foil is far inferior to most reflective material. So I went digging and got into my old army aid bag and found a mylar casualty blanket and I must say it is working awesome. I can tell a tremendous difference and I also placed it across the floor under plants where before it was only green carpet. Maybe I can squeeze an extra g or two out of these ladies

Let me know what you think of the upgrade
Mylar is def what's up, and will help for sure. Looking good, man!

Thanks eric I'll be watching your grow as well and sending good vibes your way

I noticed in your latest journal with the sugar mango you had one of them tied up with a pipe cleaner I'm assuming to expose more light to the new growth underneath. Well two of mine are open and I'm using the side light but one of them (white cheese) is bushy as he'll and I was wondering if you think it would benefit and telling me more on exactly how and for how long you did it I enclosed pics of yours as well as the one I'm asking about

Lifting the center leaves (pony tailin') helps them get bushy and stay short ... I generally only do it for about 3 hrs at a time ... sometimes only 2-3 times on a plant is all it takes to make a difference ...

my little girls first pony tail

Well Chester my man the others are open enough I can penetrate with my side cfl but the white cheese was so bushy I could see the new growth but couldn't get as much light as I would like to them so I ponytailed her top and I hope I can get some of the same growth you did. As you can see there is tons of new growth there hopefully it will spur the growth here are a few pics let me know what you think.

Very nicely done ... you'll see those exposed side branches begin to grow faster ... :Cool bud:

Day 15

Day 15:
Room temp:75 rh:50
Today I watered all three girls. The haze looked ok but still soil was dry and other two had a little drooping in leaves. After water and sleep cycle they were perky as ever.

I'm going to skip today and I believe I will ponytail the white cheese again Tom for the first 4 hrs after sleep cycle. Here are a few pics of her today after 1st round

looking great atrain. you're well on your way

Thanks samurai, I'm trying not to screw them up. I didn't pony tail today but I did go down and tuck all the larger fan leaves under the new growth and I'll pony tail it up again Tom. I'm just excited there all healthy at 15 days and hoping with chesters help I can manage the MG soil properly and have a few nice plants

marijuana fern

Ok day 16 or so all plants look good I'm just doing an update before sleep cycle of the white cheese. I ponytailed her on day 14 rested on 15 and I will tie her top up for 3 or 4 hrs today when she wakes up from her nap.

Still 72 to 79 temp with rh around 52 to 55 and no nutrients have been given only strategic watering of the MG potting soil.

Here is a pic of white cheese one day after ponytail. I can tell you under all that new growth and canopy there are 5 or 6 nodes and a main them that is twice the size of the haze or widow. I don't know if this even looks normal but it looks cool to me and it's all healthy explosive growth for now so I'm rolling with it.
