Dinafem Dinafem Quick Kush & Quick Critical

@RivetGrrl
More outstanding growing and very detailed pictorial thread here my friend!

I loved what you stated earlier in your thread here about always keeping an open mind and truly learning new things. I am getting close to 60 now, and i always learn new things from threads and people like you, no matter what age others i learn from.
I always say that the day i quit learning is the day i die.

You Rock!

Peace

You are too kind with your words my friend, I try as I can to learn and also pass on the learning. I am thirsty for knowledge too, seems a lifelong pursuit that I too hope will stay with me.

Here are a few pics as I harvested. I am allowing the bottom of the plant a few more days, but I also am looking at cutting what is left and hanging to dry. I have been wet trimming and drying in paper bags for awhile now. With more reading, seems dry trim is the way to go for best terpenes etc. so I will go back to that. I'll post the dry weight when all is done, and of course a smoke report!

Very nice lovely buds. :greenthumb:

Thank you kindly, they are super dense and SO sticky. I can't wait to try a bit, paper bag is great to start the cure as it dries, but I still worry I am losing quality to the wet trim. I can try this in a couple days tho and it is always fairly smooth even then, but proper cure is best.

Great buds :toke:

I see your over thinking everything again :coffee:
We grow, we smoke, we grow again

:hookah:

I overthink my entire world, it is my curse. I like that you called me on it, I like it when people aren't worried to say "stop it you ass" :crying: (in a nice way tho lol).
Thanks for the compliments, I hope they stay somewhat dense and keep some color when dry.
I find sometimes rock hard buds loosen up drying, so maybe as well the slower dry may help that too.
I do want to see if dry trimming makes a difference, and if it is easier. Or at least different! (I did it before, but tried a few methods).

Dude those buds look like they have some pink/purple/red? Really nice looking buds RG... Looking forward to hearing how you like the smoke!

I allways take a shine to those who would drive me crazy in the real world

It's good to experiment, I still do it, regardless if I expect it to fail  just remember it's never a failure if you fine there ain't much difference either way :woohoo1:

Simple is allways best

:thanks: And yes, they do have a lovely coloration to them, I'll take pics of the dried buds and see how they compare. I'd love to see this strain finish with cool "nights" to see what hues she takes on.

Ha ha, I am pretty good for not driving too many people crazy in real life :smoking: but my friends are all whacked too, so maybe our tribe tolerates each other better :crying:
Btw you should see the Quick Critical in the solo cup with the airstone, I could not get it into flower it time so I am gonna sacrifice her for clones. Good thing as I'd be watering 3-4 X a day as she uses it up within hours! I put the one in coco in to flower yesterday tho, see how she does.

Beautiful nugs RG. They look tasty too. I feel like dry trimming does improve flavor and smell but it is a little more messy. Honestly I just hand dry then pluck clean with my fingers. Me and scissors don't work great together. This crop I plan to hang dry, then trim , then finish drying in paper bags another 3 to 5 days. I've also noticed real dank smelling strains dont ever really have that hay smell. So basically if it's real good weed it's harder to mess up.was you able to order any CV gear?
