In-depth

Bag Appeal: ***

Fairly dense bud with plenty of crystals.

THE GROWTH: **

This plant was very temperamental while growing. Even though she started with the same feeding regimen as the others in my tent, I never fully got a handle on what she wanted. Around day 30 she had spotting on the leaves and by day 45 she was losing some of the oldest fans. Even so, it still produced a potent and decent sized harvest. I would strongly recommend that anyone growing this strain go heavy on the CalMag and veg nutes once it shows sex, because mine was always hungry. Decent sized main cola with several nice side buds. Very impressive trichome coverage.

THE SMELL: ***

This one is tough because the Lemon Pine-Sol scent wasn't my cup of tea, but it's very distinctive and I'm sure many others would love it. Very strong lemon and pine aroma that almost burns the nostrils.

THE SMOKE: **

For this test I used a MFLB and bud that had cured approximately 60 days. The smoke is a touch harsh but that's mainly due to the fact that it tastes like it smells. The after taste on the tongue is bitter lemon rind with bit of pepper. Again, very interesting and distinctive, but not my personal favorite.

THE HIGH: ***

It's been mentioned before that the 'haze' genetics in the strain are somewhat questionable. While it showed some sativa traits while growing, the high leans more towards indica. After a couple of hits, a nice body high sets in and there is an invigorating feeling of increased blood-flow throughout the body. Give it around 10 minutes, and the calming head high comes creeping in. If you stop at a few hits it's a nice balanced high with some pain relief that peaks in an hour and comes down nicely. Smoke a lot and you're headed for a couple hours of couch lock and munchies. :smoke:

I'm glad I tried this strain and I recommend that others do so. It's a common freebie so you might have a seed on hand already. I'm not in a rush to grow it again because the smell and taste were a bit strong for me, but the effects are good. Beginners might want to steer clear as it seems that I'm not the only one to have some trouble while growing. Still, it's an interesting strain and one I'm glad to have in my stash.

Lervly meds there man and another killer report.

I just grew 4 of these myself Andy. Mine were freebies from Attitude that were actually labeled "2nd grade". I had the same issues as you at around the same time intervals as well. I grew these along with 2 Dinafem Auto Critical+ which were amazing. I must say, I'm quite impressed with the Dinafem gear.

Great write up Andy. good to know about the smell and smoke part. I'm not a fan of the strong lemony/piney strains myself and was going to give this strain another go after my 2 seedlings died on me, but i think i'll pass.

+rep for another great report :bong:

Thanks again to everyone for the comments and the +rep. Spels, it's interesting because if I had no weed and the DFH was offered to me, I'd be super happy to get it. But with a variety of strains on hand and many more to try, I guess it's easy to be a bit of a snob. :D

Great report Andy! I grew 5 of them last year and all of mine were on the sativa side but the buzz made me way to anxious plus all of mine smelled like fruity pepples! I will definitely not grow it again because of stability issues and its not the right meds for me..
