Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

Contrary to popular believe, purple stems don't mean much. I've yet to correlate it with any plant deficiency. I pay no attention to it.

I’m 28 days in (grow diary here) and all the plants are loving the newest version MC in Roots Organics/perlite in autopots at 525 ppm and 6.4 pH, however tonight I just noticed some purple splotches and purple stems. Multiple plants, all at the same time, at the start of flower. Any ideas how I can adjust to keep them happy?

Ahum, I've tried correcting this in the past with a little epsom. This would often create a new issue. Leading to the adage that my solution is sometimes worst than my problem. We over mother these weeds.
If the plant is healthy, let it go amd don't worry. There is a lot of misleading information on the web. Purple stems could be genetic or the result of 20 enviroment conditions that are less than ideal.

Im having great success with just M/C. and Miicrobial mass pro nothing else as a matter of fact the photos iam growing right now are some of the nicest i have ever grown and the same with my auto tent

Great to hear @F.N. ! Nice looking plants there!
Few quick questions if you don't mind.
Autos or Photos? And what version are you using now and what does your feed schedule look like?

I've seen talk around here using Microbial supplements and it's something I haven't dabbled in. They are usually on the pricey side but if they make a big difference it could be worth it, especially with the low cost of MC.

It looks to me to be a combination of genetics with too much blue light for that strain? Dial down the blue if you can.

I avoid getting my plants wet. I think it just opens you to potential problems.

Did you sanitize your grow space after your last mold and rot break out? It can leave a higher than normal spore load in your space that will increase the chance of it happening again. Unfortunately the spores are all around all of the time. You just want to keep the count as low as possible. Bleach, H²O² and elbow grease are good for cleaning surfaces. I have a UVC lamp that I use in my grow space now after each grow. I hope it gets what I don't.

I have decided to go back to BioBiz nutrient line. I’ve always had amazing success with this line. My garden has increased considerably in the past year. My goal was to switch nutrient lines to maintain quality and reduced costs. I will use MC in my Outdoor photo grows as I had positive results last summer. I apparently lack the ability to make this nutrient line work in my auto flower garden. I thank everyone for their support and guidance.

Funny that you mentioned that. I used MC in my first grow because worm bin got raided by a raccoon. I still have a BUNCH left over. Since at low levels, there's not much if any impact on the microbes, I'm gonna use it also on my neighbors outdoor grow this spring.

Speaking of MC and microbes, now that my grow is flowering, is there any benefit to adding Recharge or the like, or is it best to keep them slow and steady at 520ish/6.4 (in soil that is)?
Good question!
Couldn't the Recharge cause the girls to uptake too much nutes, especially if you're running close to the max?
