Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

I use mc in sip buckets and my leaves are light green yellowish...I used it to 4 grams and still getting the same color should I go higher?????

You can run MEGA CROP 100% all the way through solo, also you can add in PK Boost (0 Nitrogen) type product during flower time to really customize. There are a few other products you can mess around with also depending on your grow preference, but MC is essential and can be used standalone.

I usually recommend to people to do a few solo MC runs and dialed it in first, then to consider experimenting with a few other supplements just to see if it benefits them.

yeah, there is definitely a "dialing in" learning curve, which to be honest comes with literally any nutrient system. MEGA CROP will be easier to dial in compared to other products because its 1 simple product, so you are only adjusting for 1 variable which is the easiest thing to do.

Dialing in is requires because of slight differences in strains genetics, whether its autoflower or photosensitive strains, lighting types/conditions, grow conditions/environment, medium, etc... So the Feeding Chart on the website is basically just a suggestion.

So usually the dialing in process is something like determining how much to feed depending on your week in cycle (week 1 veg, week 2 veg ... week 5 flower), but its usually fairly simple. Like you might end up with something like
week 1: 4 grams per gallon
week 2: 4.2 grams per gallon
...
week 5: 5 grams per gallon
week 6: 5.5 grams per gallon
...

So its going to be somewhat relative to the Feeding Schedule, but slight adjustments may need to be made.
I have a question I'm using the one part at the moment and I started with 3 grams a gallon and my leaves are not that green...I upd to 4 grams and still the same should I up it to 5 this feed...they are in pre-flower stage at the moment 47 days old and a couple don't look that great....they got brown spots too. would you recommend the 2 part and BE and bud candy??? I'm buying all of that this week manogreen recommended the 2 part....thanks I could use some help...i also add 0.5 g Epsom salt and 1/8 teaspoon of cal-mag...to every feeding...also should feed everytime or every other watering???? Thanks

It's not likely one watering would be the cause.

I was following the feeding schedule on Greenleafs web site ! Enter the amount of water and it calculates the grams of MC for each stage of growth.

About half way through flowering I did one watering without nutrients and almost immediately the fan leaves started yellowing.

That leads me to believe I was feeding at "just enough" and missing one feeding had negative effects ?

Cheers

This is exactly why I don't do the grams per gallon thing. PPM/EC tells me what I'm feeding at without a doubt. I've been using MC since V1 and /i've always feed in the 500-550 range for most plants, a few wanted a little more but not many. I also make a stock solution as that makes the feed more uniform from feeding to feeding.

Then why would they return to normal when I started feeding again ? Nothing else changed ?

7g/4L right to the end. Remember, my well water has a ppm of ~500 and a ph of ~7.5

I quit phing my water @day 30. ProMix HP and MC are both ph buffered !

Anywho, it's academic now. King Gelato came down nine days ago..

King Gelato and Gorilla Glue #4 are both in curing containers @68% so the weight shouldn't change much...

Gelato - 6.0 oz
Topped Gelato - 10.75 oz
Purple Silverback - 6.1 oz
Gorilla Glue #4 - 15.6 oz
King Gelato - 14.6 oz

A total of 53.05 oz or 3.3 #'s, call it 3 1/2 #'s including testers :cooldance:

Cheers

With that water, I'd go RO and/or organic.

Why ?

3 1/2 pounds out of a 4 x 4 isn't enough ?

Loving the KISS approach

Cheers
It's risk management. Presumably, you will eventually run auto cultivars that cannot handle such high EC.
