New Grower Deckards 1st Grow, 2x GSC Auto - Outdoor

did you by any chance get them wet when the sun was up?

No, I only water/feed them in the evening. It appeared when we had a few really hot days (much more than normal). New growth seems to be okay but i think its stunted it a bit. Ive check the ppm etc and it all seems fine so not too worried about it now.

So, ive finished my gsc, grow, i cropped them two days ago and are currently drying.
It was my first ever grow so im not too disappointed with the results, even though i probably ended up with about 7g in total (i dont have any scales). The only really disappointing part of the grow was the final size of my plants, they only reached 41cm and 35 cm in hight. I did have a lot of problems through the grow. I think i burned and stunted the seedlings in a propagator, over fed at the start, struggled with heat stress and finally some thrips nearly finished my plants off (in the end i won thanks to the spinosad). You can see on the taller of the two plants how much it stretched (i guess from the heat). The bud is all very thin and whispy, no real nugs.
Im not sure why my plants are always so small. I have an auto lemon which compared to these is doing much better, it looks healthy and has big thick buds on it, yet it is only 45cm in hight. Ive read a lot online and on here and i have no idea why they are so small, and why i cant get them to a reasonable hight before they start to flower. They seem to have nice conditions, sun all day, good soil, nutes etc. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. I have another GSC auto seed , im undecided on if to plant it now or wait until next year, i probably have another 12 weeks of nice weather.

Here are the pics of my bonsai tress. Thanks to everyone who helped with my grow.

hey man, good job! The first time is a real great learning experience, next summer you'll do ALOT better. I think generally 45 cm height for an auto is generally a normal height, some plants get taller some shorter but 45 isnt that bad. What you really want is bud sites on the plant, not height.
