Rain coming my way to didn't want it at all but what can you do I spend all year preparing for an outdoor season and rain can ruin it

I had to remove a bud from my candy kush yesterday for the same reason. 10 days from Harvest. i was able to save some of the bud, and i'm not entirely sure it was "rot", but it did look brownish and unhealthy, so best to chuck it.
In 24 hours the largest plant that I cut the molding cola off spread to all the bud sites so I had to cut the entire plant and toss it out. Made me want to cry like a baby! She was 53 inches tall! I have one more that is showing the brown rot on two bud sites but all the rest I see no signs. I am a few hours from getting the Natria so they will be treated by the end of the day and we shall see how it goes.

Been there...sorry bud I know it hurts. Good luck with the natria.....please update results.
By Friday evening the rot was starting on 5 more plants. I sprayed with Natria but the rot was spreading fast so I chopped the oldest plants. Natria has a strong foul odor and warnings about getting it on skin clothes etc. What I am left with today are two plants that show rot on a couple of bud sites. I sprayed all remaining plants even though some show no visible signs of rot. The true test will be in the next few days. Rot moves so fast through your plant that they will be spreading fast unless the Natria works. Will keep you all posted on the effectiveness and hopefully good news of a product that will eliminate this problem. We are currently experiencing cold wet days. Temperatures are 16 Celsius daytime and down to 9 Celsius during the night. I have them in a small greenhouse to protect them from rain/dew.

DAY 4 after Natria application. Bud rot is over! Spreading stopped completely and areas that were affected stopped growing mold also. The harsh smell of the Natria has dissipated and crops look healthy. I did not have high expectations for this solution but very pleasantly surprised how effective Natria really is. I will keep this product on hand.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would not hesitate to recommend Natria as it is a very effective bud rot/mold remedy.

I have an ongoing experiment with horsetail tea.
I have a plant that has been hit by brey mold like yours and it seemes that the mold diapears after i sprayed it.
I did not cut anything as i want to see if the tea workes. I can tell thougt that a cucumber in my greenhouse also had some grey mold
and that was killed by the tea.
Edit: sorry i did not see that there was found a solution.
