Day 7 of cs, does this look OK?

There might be something to that as the only ones I've successfully used are the large size. I think it may have something to do with the extra time the roots have to develop before they reach the netting. I think I'm just going to go directly in the soil from now on, but out of curiosity I'm going to grow a few with the net cut off. Thanks!
I’ve never had good luck with jiffy or rapid rooters. They always seem to retain too much moisture. At least that’s the issues I’ve had with them, never could get it right. Now it’s straight to coco/soil or if going hydro I use rock wool cubes.

Looking good.

Best to let that pollen drop on its own, if you can. I have forced it before and found there is a stage where the pollen just isn’t ready yet. Once it starts falling on its own you can get a big sheet of aluminum foil to set under the branches you are going to shake and have at it. I usually cut one branch off and stick it in water and let it continue to mature on a window sill, just in case. That’s of course if you are collecting the pollen. If your plans are to pollinate a female that’s ready well do the shake over her. :cooldance:

Cheers for that! As a new grower I realize I'm probably running before learning how to walk so insights like this are priceless. Hope you're having a pleasant holiday weekend :)
