Day 21 Res Change

So i have been experimenting with res changes and went 21 days without one for the first stages of growth. The list is above of what is in the res was up until now. Roots are looking great. No algae or slime in the res when i changed it. Res is consistently at 68 degrees due to my wonderfull water chiller. And i pump mad air in to it. Use a Eco 4 pump with 4 stones in the 100L res for the 5 of them.

New Res Consists of

Aquashield
Calmag 1/2 strength
Kind Base
Kind Grow
Liquid Karma ( small amount)
Rhizotonic (full dose)
Root Excelurator (half dose)

Ph 5.7
PPM 350-400

Having problems with tips curling down on 2 of the 5. Lools like classic nitrogen toxicity. So I pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water out of the reservoir and added 5 gallons of ph d water to see if that will help them any. Ive heard they are light feeders but damn at day 25 and the ppm is only at 350ppm. Should now be at aroun 3d 300 so hopefully that sorts it out. Just really dont want stunting due to over fert

I really do think that a sizable portion of that clawing is just a characteristic of the genetics, not nitrogen.

Although it tended to exhibit w/ mine at the transition from veg to bloom nutes....

They were looking good in last week's pictures. I think they can go well though it but I would also lower the N concentrations a bit, just in case...

do you have any idea how tall these are supposed to get? mine are about 10 inches right now and 10 inches wide.... just curious if i can fit all 5 in a 4x8 tent

Hi mate!

I kinda find it difficult when it comes to speak in inches and feet... But if they keep as healthy as they are now they will probably end up with between 60 and 90cm, which I think is 2-3 feet.

About side growth it depends on the space they have to develop roots and the space you got them available between each plant. I would worry much, when they feel that they are already touching one of the neighbours (if it ends up happening) they stop the side growth.

So heres an update. Day 37. They actually got a 900w mars 2 dropped on them and one got massacred and the other 4 are alive but stunted I beleive. We will see in the coming weeks. Anyway since then I built my rdwc system amd upgraded their living space in hopes to curve what had previpusly destroyed their beautiful home. The chains which were supposidly good for 70 lbs snapped and down she came. So now they have been in their new home for 2 days with all the leds a blazing. Total true wattage for lights is approximately 1200 so there is a light for each plant. 2x400w and 1x700w and 1x900w all Mars 2 full spectrum.

Rhizotonic full dosage
Liquid Karma 1/8 dosage
Few cups of Heisenberg tea every week and once between res changes.

Ppm around 400
Ph : from 5.5-6.1 I usually let it swing a little
Res temps are constantly 68 due to my wonderful chiller!
And today I added two of those C02 bottles to give them a little boost during the stretch phase. There's a pic of the brand name. Anyway they arent quite as big right now as they should due to the whole light fiasco but all is beautiful now and shes full steam ahead. No purple yet.

Well here we are at day 60 ish. Things are coming along great! Starting to get purple and they are finally starting to swell. Learning still with this being an all LED grow from seed to weed. So far I am impressed with the lights and the genteics are looking reeeeaally nice. Never seen trics on stems of fan leaves that are 6 inches long. Especially this early into flower. Im not sure how long it will take to finish as they have a while to go yet in my opinion. Thinking at least another 3 weeks. They smell like skittles and people say its the prettiest plant theu have seen in a while. Sorry about the led pics but is the best I can do at the moment. Let me know what you think!

Looking great brother! Yea without really Being able to make much of the pics with the led on... But looks like yea another three or so.... Possibly four.... Would love to see that lady with lights off... :clap: :gthumb: good job thus far!

Looking good I just got a pack of the Red Poisons which have the same Purple Pakastani Kush (it's Green Poison x Purple Pakastani Kush). Wasn't sure which of the three purple strains Sweet Seeds runs to snatch (Black Cream, Dark Devil, Red Poison). Anyone know? Actually there's another two they just released as well. Getting more complicated!

At any rate, I bought enough for a run of 8 w/ 2 extra... watching this carefully!
