Has anyone seen buds foxtail from the start? My room temps are hitting 31 at the hottest times and falling to 25 lights off depwnding on weather. Is this due to heat? Mostly talking about the single larhe cola plants. They both have long stringy buds while the other two bushy ones have thick dense buds. So what gives???
31C leaf temp should still be okay but it's pushing it. There's some canna research out there that shows that the highest rate of photosynthesis occurs at 25-30 C, and beyond 30 it slows down substantially. So try to keep it at or below 30 if possible. This could be as simple as straightening out a duct line or something of that nature! Also, make sure your 4 or 6 hours lights off or whatever occurs at the hottest times of the day .... which is usually 1 pm - 5 pm, 12 pm - 6 pm.

Here are a few pics of my babies. Getting close to harvest. Kinda upset with how the two that look exactly the same have stretchy buds but i feel like it was probably due to the lights falling on them and the higher temps even with the leds in the summer. should have ran with ac, but lesson learned. Two of them are looking VERY nice right now and am excited for them! you will see what i mean by foxtails from the start. its pretttty trippy looking buds haha oh well they look super dank just a little handicapped. LOL. Anyway here we go guys! Starting to get purple and will let them run this last week with nutes then flush the crap out of them. Let me know what you think. I dont think the stretchy ones will fill out much but im hoping for the best. We will see.

Just a couple of early pickin pictures. These are the tops of some of the smaller branches. Not real happy about how this turned out but I made a couple mistakes this grow. I beleive I underfed during most of flower. My temps were regularly in the 28-35 range and lights off only got down to about 25 on the cool days. Also didnt change to flower nutes soon enough and the two stretchy ones locked something out. which all compunded to a not so great end result. flowers are stank and tricomed out hard but the density and size isnt. Like I said 100 percent my fault. I even dropped a 25 pound light on them when they were like 25 days old. So all in all could have been much worse. Going to give the red poison a shot next and really try and get this nailed down so I can really see what leds can do
