Harvested these DD 2 weeks ago. Pictures don’t do them justice. Although buds are not very dense, the smoke is quite good. Got about 45 gms not counting trim.

I grew a DD a coupla grows ago...colors were striking but I had a little trouble reading the trics and prob let it go a bit long so it became bedtime weed.
Yield was lower than most autos I grow but it was pretty to grow and show friends those deep purple nuggs. Most in my area had never seen purple smoke
so it was a treat when I broke out a nugg.

Perhaps I had some of the same batch of seeds, out of 6 seeds 2 failed to germ, 2 grew\flowered very similar to your photo. and although 2 looked normal they had no density weighed almost nothing once cured, the smell & taste were great, only been growing autos for a couple years so I am no expert but I typically pull off decent runs

Same experience here. had pretty decent top buds but all lower looked just like OP's pic or worse. foxtailed stems with the odd calyx. Went like 99 days and threw 6-7 nanners so I chopped it. A quick google search shows lots of Sweet Seeds purple strains foxtailing like crazy.

My last Devil Cream had the exact same skinny, scraggly bud structure as the OP, so I guess it’s not uncommon?
