New Grower Danielsaaan’s Third Grow

Do you think they may be getting too much light? Leaves always seem to be rather droopy — even after watering. I’m between weeks 3-4 and they’re currently getting 450 PPFD or 35.64 DLI. I’m following the chart below. Should I try following the low end of the range? For instance, 30 now, and 40 for weeks 4-5? Or possibly lower? Just trying to dial things in the best I can and cover all of my bases! Thanks all. Will post an updated picture of the girls later tonight.

I don't go off of charts I turn the light up until I start to see tacoing or other signs of light stress and then back it off slightly. Helps me ensure the plants are getting all the light they need.

Seedlings and younger plants will display slightly different signs like stretching if they aren't getting enough light but once you start to notice the signs it's easy to fix.

The first sign I usually see from too much light is a droopy plant any time from noon till lights off and recovers over night.
I would be trying for about 28-30 dli right now.

Use that chart as a starting point and watch how your plants react and adjust accordingly.

:yeahthat: It is good starting point but watch the plant and how it reacts...

I would go a little longer between waterings and see if they perk up. Let the top 1/2"- 1" to dry and moist below that. My 3bog also has been droopy after watering so I need to let her go a little longer between waterings, different plants can desire a different moisture level.

Agreed. The first inch was actually quite dry and the pots did feel pretty light. Scared of letting the soil dry out because of how detrimental everyone says it is. Was also thinking maybe I should turn the in-line fan off until flower? Without the in-line fan, temps run 78-81. With it on, 69-72. I imagine, especially in veg, they would be happier with the higher temps? Is it okay to sacrifice the in-line fan for now? I still open the tent a few times a day and have vents open and an oscillating fan in there. Thanks Talon!

The plants will do just fine with a higher temp, I try to keep mine between about 78*f up to 82*f during lights on and 68-72 with lights off.

Alright cool. Plus I figure the pots will dry a little quicker with the higher temps. Once in flower, the light should be at 100%, so with the in-line on, temps should be mid 70s which I think will be perfect for that stage. As always, thanks for the help!
