New Grower Danielsaaan’s Third Grow

It is all a learning experience, you will bang it out. :headbang:

Yucca in your water will help your watering routine. :pass:
I have Quillaja Saponaria to help for when I begin watering. It’s a build a soil product someone on here recommended. I’ll let you know how it goes!

I’m on day 19 and noticing some weird coloration on the leaves. Just been giving them PH’d water in spray bottles. They’re each getting 230-250 ppfd. Anything to worry about? What’s causing this?

I think you are under watering them at this point. Just spraying isn't providing enough, bags can and do dry out quickly, and then roots perish. I am using living soil and rain science bags and I have to water them every 3-4 days, and not just watering for the plant, but the entire soil body. The microbes and beneficial stuff dies off in dry soil.

How long are the lights on?

Lights have been 24 since they sprouted. Is it safe to water til runoff at this point or are they too immature?

When I water, I water well away from the plant, much closer to the bag, it wouldn't hurt to water in stages 20-60 minutes apart either. Until the plant gets bigger I water till I get just a few drops out of the bottom. With a living soil you don't want much runoff.

Just when I thought I had it down. So the 200ml I just gave isn’t enough? Water around the edges of the pot til slight runoff at this stage?

Yep, when you're in soil you really are watering and feeding the soil not the plant. I know there ls a lot of info out there that will tell you to let soil 'dry out' but thats just flat out wrong. You don't want it constantly soaking wet because that will create an anaerobic environment and kill your roots. But you need consistent moisture for soil to do its job.. Think of all these people getting killer results with autopots and earthboxes keeping their soil at a consistent moisture, that's what you want to try to replicate. A good rule thats helped me is that the soil holds about 10% its volume in water.

I’ve heard this too, but I’ve also read you can’t water til runoff until the plant is well established? I think I’ll go water around the edges with water/wetting agent/recharge PH ~6.5 til slight runoff
