yes.... I agree with you... one thing I will say... drying higher temps / faster better air flow helps... I have a dehydrator... when i see mold coming in on stuff... I dry at 120 F to stop anymore from progessing... the shit grows so fast... you could have a little spot when you harvest and after 24 hours of what you think is drying... you may have lost a few buds as a result..
def have a read on that life cycle of botrytus.. it tells you how to at least keep from recontaminating your own stuff over and over...
I am reading the links you gave me now My dry temps were 70ish and about 50% humidity with a fan blowing indirectly for 6-8hrs a day. This grow season was wicked man! I have been an outdoor grower for quite sometime. I HATE these drastic weather changes. last year we had literally MONTHS of rain, now this year INSANE humidity combined with high temp days....sheesh! Heres to hoping next year calms down a little bit lmao! If not I will def add a heater to my dry room for faster drying. I just love the slow dry, the taste and smell comes out sooo much better. I usually dry for 3 days or so until the outside is crispish but the stem does not snap, still has some bend to it, then I alternate from jar/papper bag until I feel they are ready for long term jar cure. I may have to alter things if this weather keeps up.
