Day 13 - veg
Gloriousus veg has saved the day along with BTI and blessings. The flip to 11/13 isn't far away and I'm only concerned about one plant atm. Roots are hitting the bottom of the pots while looking thick and white. No more fungus gnats or larvae have been seen in the flower tent.

Flooded yesterday at a 1.2EC and 5.8ph while giving daily foliar feeds of P/Fulvic/Liquid Karma. I have been slowly removing large damaged fan leaves to encourage some vegetative growth. There a few in the back left that may need to be topped. Not mad about 30/36 compared to the last run of 32/45.

Oddest thing happens in the hydro store, I'm checking out all local shops out of curiosity, and the clerk starts telling me how the majority of the staff only grow in soil. That's utter blasphemy and diametrically opposed. The dude goes on to tell me how the owner hires growers because he doesn't really know how to grow much of anything.

I ask them have they considered in home consultations - they have and they need someone to do them. Wouldn't call it getting a job but I was told they would call me when they needed me. Now I get to be paid to assault others with my endless horde of useless knowledge. Setting up grow equipment, diagnosing plants, etc and they asked if I would teach classes on hydroponics:chimp:

Anyways, pictures!

They sell "soil and soil accessories" ( say it like Hank Hill) cause all us noobs are scared of the real deal grow setups. They can sell us pots, and soil, and drying racks, and tents, and overpriced lights, and filters, and nutes all day. ( hey! I want a cut of that $$) That's more than most normal people have ever known and especially when most people's growing background is mint. Or Zinnias and 90% there peppers from the Depot/Lowes.

God, I'd be terrified to meet you in a shop with my initial $200 budget!

Hahahah that said, I would appreciate it later. Just like that first time you walk into a hobby/speed/whathaveyou shop and an OG drops real knowledge on you. At the time it seems harsh and wrong, but later you realize they were really helping. It's been the same forever. Hardly ever does someone new cruise in to really learn. I hope they take you on.

Memory time.... Stories from a old fogey..... I remember getting walked by an old dude in a "stock" appearing 07 Honda Fit in my heavily modded 04'RSX... man..... That was after dumping my NSX killing EK.... what a mistake. What I would give for a clean EK/EG and a "mild" turbo B20 again..... hell...... I far preferred those old shitty days of early import tuning to the muscle car scene. Man, "boomers" like me were a PITA back then.

EDIT: I will say the "this loud piece of crap is my sons/grandsons car!" got me out of more than a few tickets. Cops could not believe a well dressed gray hair was driving a shitbox Honda. Hahaha. Hide in plain sight. All they heard was a loud exhaust. Not 20k of engine/chassis work and Toda cams with J's ti exhaust.... God forbid they notice the Hoosiers on the front! Lol!

Well Mr. Strickland isn't the savviest businesse owner in town. To be fair lol.

So many issues could be prevented just being prudent in setting up your environment lol. People can spend $200 an oz but throw some seeds in the closet under t5s and expect ozs. I'm guilty of it but I'd rather a grower is off to the races in a few months rather than having an affair with fungus gnats that go into your ladies naughty places.

I wanted to get into cars and racing - then I saw the prices. Ended up being a diesel mechanic and doing fun stuff like duallys on a Tahoe or welding car hauler trailers. Nothing is cheap but I'd trade you to drive some imports that were modded lol

Finally time to do what I came to do. Set the timer to 11/13 and I might get to see these be better than never before. Flooded in at 1.1ec/5.9ph and keeping my foliar routine for a few more weeks. Everything is doing well with around 6 more straggling. I don't really expect large yield but I do expect great quality.

Day 2 - flower
Started 11/13 with 87f/65%. Last check on the res was 1.1ec/6.0ph. I was able to get a new filter for the AIRCARE 6 gallon humidifier and my humidity has stayed a bit higher. In the mean time I have some Jalisco IBL x Amnesia germinating.

Still a bit concerned about a few but overall satisfied. The EB gen2s are about 12" away, I'll let them grow to the light if they stretch that hard. The stems are bushy and the age difference is apparent. Now I can kick back and do a lot less since nothing is dying anymore.
