mold. yes. no doubt. Do you have a plan?

Well if it's just the one spot, I was going to just chuck that bud out and harvest the reast. If I find more, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

White spots on leafs. And small dirt like moving specs. 80% sure thats mold

if that is mold, it is very early mold. it usually is inside the bud at the stalk first.

Carefully remove that whole branch.
When harvest wash buds. Thoroughly check during trim. Spores spread fast. So be gental not to shake spores everywhere

Ya I don't see anything else that would point to mites. I did have a few fungus gnats a week ago though that affected another plant.

gotta get it out of the room while it's still white. I'd cut a branch below the moldy buds, and get them out by covering with a plastic bag to catch spores. Then use neem oil with a q-tip or something on the branches and nodes.

Or kill the whole plant.

Should be fine removing the one branch.
Highly likely. A gnat died there and caused the mold. Or a drop of water.

Like gene said. Quarantine that branch as carefully as possible as fast as possible.

Then keep a close eye til harvest.

The prevention is not a bad idea either gene. I did not do that when i found mold. Just removed branches.
And tossed colas n branches at trim when i checked insides of buds after dried.

Typically if no white mold visible going into cure. Your usually good.
Throw some mold in the jar. Lost the whole jar. Tricky stuff.

Really it boils down to 3 factors.

1 how bad do you need your supply.
2 how much risk is it to the rest of yr harvest
3 how much risk to yr health.

In that order actually.
If your good on smoke. Remove the whole plant.

If in need. Work from the branch and moniter.

If it progresses then you move on to health risks of trying to salvage.

But i will confidently say if only seeing 1 spot. You're not even close to defcon 5 lol

if it was close to harvest anyway, thats your best bet. Do a two bucket rinse. I used warm water with baking soda and a twist of lemon, followed by cold water. I may have lost a few trichs, but it killed any spores in it. I also fast dryed it and just dealt some shrink.
