I gotta do it, I want to just show up and have power and not have to drag a battery back and forth. Just no idea what I really need. I did get a low voltage disconnect because last year I left the light on and almost destroyed a brand new battery.

you need a solar panel appropriate to battery size and a charge controller to handle the current, will never overcharge, no brainer time once you get it set up

I looked at it all last year but kinda forgot about it over the winter. I'm guessing getting one size bigger panel than what is needed wouldn't hurt, also I won't have direct sun all day due to being in da woods.
