I got fox farms ocean forest and I Dont know if it will burn my plants or anything. So should I run some water thru

This is the big one. Inspect the f*ck out of any jars you're using (if you're hell bent on doing it this way). I would try to use new jars if possible.

Yep. I can foods in the fall, so I know the drill. I check everything, using magnification.

I had used a sous vide bag a few times, but I SWEAR there was an off-gassed scent from it. And the thought of growing as organically as I can, with love and care, to have the final product made in plastic, is unappealing. I UNDERSTAND the reasoning for it, just don't want to risk that aspect with my plants.

Ocean Forrest or any soil made by fox farms is no good anymore in my opinion I have seen way to many issues with it the past year and would never trust it any more

Hmmm that idea might make me try them again. I personally hate air pots, I've had no luck at all with the damned things lol! I know a lot of people use them effectively though. And I hate all that hand watering to boot. I think I kept a 3 gallon, gave away all the rest I had! But nothing will get me away from auto pots!

You could always run wicks through the bottom of your airpots

I just had an epiphany !!! I have several greenhouses around the area I wonder if I could rent space ???
