Autos we grow are hybrids, mostly crosses with photo periods. We know that many crosses end up small to medium size and all have an average range of 60-75 days, Except...... some crosses retain a lot of the photo period's growth characteristics, often mostly Sativa crosses, like Auto Ultimate, which can go 40+ days in veg and another 60 to 80 days in flower!

But yep, 2 - 4 ounce per plant is whinin the average range for many. However, even some of these with the right evironment can get larger than that. My best Blue Dragon harvest from a single plant was 5 oz. We'll see what happens when I plant some in a 4'x8'x18" raised bed!
I think that is the difference between these massive plants people are growing and the regular (normal?) size plants the rest of us have grown. I've never had a truly huge auto (I got 4 ounces off the biggest auto I've ever grown...) and tend to think the norm is smaller-ish plants. I think if the pheno is right, and conditions are absolutely perfect....you get a giant!

I watch alot..I'm to cheap for ppv so I watch what on.. I just watched 207 I think. Rhonda got her ass beat in 48 seconds by Nunes..
ill pm you a nice link... best sports link ever. if u catch what im saying lol.

Well, I'd say thats a matter of preference mostly. I use auto pots and I usually feed right up till chop day. I do reduce the ppms, up to 50% less, about a week before, as the plant is just not using much by then. Plain water the last couple days wouldn't hurt anything.

ok pops. i got to ask. only because we are at the cusp of our first grow. im not asking about flushng. im with you, why starve them buds. but i will ask. when are nutrients not needed in the water? we dont feed them every watering. every other or so. is there a point where they dont need the nutes? only have 1 to 3 good waters left at max. should we feed them again? roughly 7-10 days out from chop

I was always hunting the big girls..Just realized that 16 or 18 in the same space as 5 big ones is better.. only took me 20 years but I'm catching on now

Do you ever not water for the last couple days?? I have it definitely seems to shorten the drying times. Just not sure if it wrecks anything else
