Hello, Elle! I like the idea of a closed environment room. I've thought about this a few times. I think you hit the nail on the head with controlling the air pressure. In my experience, the thing that bothers my arthritis the worse is the changes in barometric pressure. I've lived in the desert of Arizona, the Mountains of Pennsylvania and finally we're in Maine...cold and damp. The worse place for me pain-wise was the mountains because of the constant changes in barometric pressure. I think if you can control that, you would be half way to at least SOME pain relief for your husband.
