Would it be fair to say that there is nothing written in stone that says that a strain is going to be 4 weeks in veg and 6 in bloom ! That some strains could be longer in veg or bloom than other strains ?? depending on conditions , light etc .

Would not say set in stone. But that does seem like the average. Good guide line to base off of tho. But too many strains and variables in strains and set ups to say yes exactly x days in veg and x days bloom. Just my opinion. I have even seen that guide line for photos and scrog method. Pretty close to same time frames

I think that is the difference between these massive plants people are growing and the regular (normal?) size plants the rest of us have grown. I've never had a truly huge auto (I got 4 ounces off the biggest auto I've ever grown...) and tend to think the norm is smaller-ish plants. I think if the pheno is right, and conditions are absolutely perfect....you get a giant!

Absolutely, plants do their own thing.. you just gotta watch them
