Lots of them at my place in Florida, never tasted one but now I'm curious.
we have lots every year, haven't tried eating yet, word here is they good! I could stand in the yard and get them out on the tundra with the 223

their nickname is ripeye of the sky :eyebrows: gotta be good with a nickname like that

Word is they are better than good...ive read they are an absolute delicacy. If we had an open hunting season for them I would be telling you how they taste. :D
 
they be milling around about a hundred yards out, some times closer!

perfect choice of weapon then...I love .223...my buddy has a Ruger mini 14 .223 and I love that gun...up to a 100 yards its a combat monster. Also does well up to around 400 yards, but closer its a beast. He told me if shit hits the fan, I get the mini. :D
