The leaves are out, but the shell just slid down the stem lol. It’s like a piece of membrane keep it together. Sorry for sideways pic. @arty zan @Mike20132

Well how about that, that is just what I posted about.
The seed shell shouldn't be a problem where it is but, I always like to have everything neat and tidy.
Water will soften the membrane and then use some tweezers (very gently) and it should come away quite easily.
At least you don't have a stubborn helmet that won't come off.

Just made myself a £20 cob with Chinese bits and a citizen 1212 cob 3500k. A bit Jules Verne but it is a bright bit of kit. Might have to get more and convert my Chinese cobs, which work well but these appear to work a lot better.

Awesome, can I ask where u got the driver and heatsink? I've had everything else for months now just can't find decent little drivers and heatsink.

We just finished a half gallon jar of cayenne's that I dried two years ago for that exact purpose. Man vs. Food was in Portland, OR and filmed at two of my favorite spots of all times, Salvador Molly's and Stepping Stone Cafe, both are mind rocking spots, but SM is probably the best food in the city in my opinion. They both lost their coolness after that show hit, cause then everyone and their mom piled into the spots. Tell your wife to check out Secret Aardvark Trading Company, they make hot sauces and marinades and stuff, the founder passed away, he was the founder/owner of Salvador Molly's. At the restaurants they make Habanero Cheese Fritters that Adam on that show ate, they are pretty phenomenal. I only finished them once, the first time I ate all the sauce for five fritters on just one (waitress miscommunication) and although miserable and in pain, it was probably also the most euphoric I have ever felt in my life. Capsicin in some amazing stuff.
How did you dry your peppers, and how did you grind them? I am a little afraid to grind to much and put it into the air. Will have to do outside for sure.

Alibaba heatsink and eBay led 50w driver. Heatsink is £6 and gets to UK in 4 days driver takes a week or so for £5.

@Eclectic Elle you only grow, no smoking? Do you use cannabis in any form? This is blowing my mind lol. I dont think I would grow if I didn't use it, but I do like growing more than using since I started growing. Dont get me wrong I dab all day long hahaha! Do you grow for somebody else? I even started growing strawberries and this year trying a ghost pepper. So I getting how growing stuff you dont want. I dont eat strawberries and cant imagine i will be able to eat the ghost pepper seeing how Wendy's spicy chicken gets me sweating lol.
Hey @Mcdee , yes I'm a grower only. I don't currently use anything because my tolerance levels are screwy to say the least. I used to smoke a spliff now and again but would only feel any effects one time out of five so I gave up. And edibles send me straight to the floor, pretty much. I haven't got dosing right at all, but luckily everyone else in my house smokes so I have a captive audience mwahahahaha.

Good stuff bud! Mine are all 1212s @ 3500k too, they work very well. I think you're going to be pleased with it, especially for the price!

@Rollin_along @midIN and Anyone else wanting to do a DIY LED build or talk about it.

Due to the safety aspects of DIY LED grow light building, we set up a DIY LED light forum.

@BigSm0 & @pop22 are very knowledgeable guys and can help you out when needed.

They will also take down any posts of builds that are dangerous and could endanger our members if they copied it.

This is where ALL TALK & POSTS about Building LED Grow Lights should be.

Please could you post and keep all talk of builds in that forum guys!

Just like the BHO forum, DIY LED is not to be talked about elsewhere in the AFN forums, especially Live Stoners!

I am no longer a moderator, preferring to take things a little more easy these days but it was I, who asked for and created the DIY LED forum, furthermore, I am also the author of the DIY LED disclaimer, which must be read first, before posting in the DIY LED section.

Sorry to be any hassle , just the way things are ,this is so we can keep our members safe!

All AFN members must read this post before building and posting in the DIY LED forum.
