I'll be going on my first fishing trip this summer.

First?
I grew up on the water and in the woods, So it's almost confusing to me when adults say they've never been hunting or fishing.
Where you planning on going?

I was warn out after that "excursion". There's a set of rapids there, that's maybe 1/4 mile long that I wade when I'm going for bass and saugeye, and just about every fish I caught was around that size. I dropped my tape in the water on the way out to that little island I was fishing on, otherwise I'd have a length for him.
I'd say he was close to 19 or 20" long. I laid him next to my foot, and it looked like he'd me near two of my feet long. Few inces shy.
Caught that one on a [HASHTAG]#6[/HASHTAG] or [HASHTAG]#7[/HASHTAG] Berkley Flicker Shad.

Love me a good shad...
Man I gotta dig out my tackle box...

That makes sense as to why my Gorilla Glue4 made me itch. That stuff smells pretty lemon heavy.

Without getting into it...I had a fairly fucked up childhood. No hunting, or fishing....or other things you learn as a kid. Since moving up here to Maine, I've been getting a little interested in fishing. We'll be spending some time in a cabin on a big lake in the middle of Maine....so I figured it would be a good time to give it a shot. I bought a cheapo rod and reel a few weeks ago. I expect to interact with zero fish.

Most common allergy in people and plants
I believe....
It’s why most people can’t touch citronella...
Limonene is citrusy smells orange and lemon..
Slight changes in biomolecules and a new smell arises

Last cheapo rod I bought, I cast out and the thing broke in 2 sending half of it down the line into the sea [emoji23][emoji23] Then as I frantically tried to reel it back in, the housing holding the reel in place broke away from the body of the rod so it was spinning around as I was trying to use it [emoji23][emoji23] My mate thought it was hilarious. I wasn't amused at all!

Great feeling when you catch your first fish though dude. Hope you manage to get at least 1 [emoji106]

Pick up youR shells... any garbage you see..
Man people are shocked when I pick up trash..
Then they feel bad because they look at it everyday and don’t do shit. They know they should.. but they never do
