Can you get a referral to a specialist from your MD . That's how it works here we don't send an electrician if you need a plumber .

LOL. It is possible, but not likely. I have some options, but I don't like any of them. I go to the University, and it's cheap to be seen, but I pay for tests. I can go to a regular ER, not doing it. Or I can drive 2 hours to the proper VA hospital instead of a clinic, and maybe get better care. Thats it, thats all I got. Problem is a recurring hernia, and I specifically requestd a high contrast CT scan with palpitation because I was able to reduce the hernia (and alleviate my own pain) on my own. The DR. agreed, so I waited the month for a CT scan, but he didn't order it with high contrast, and it came back negative.

I bailed on the CBOC....and drive to the main hospital. I've had a little better luck going that route. It always seemed like the clinics are where they put the shit doctors at.

Does this mean we can't BBQ yet @Frankthetank . :nono:
Of course not, bear.....it just means we have to leave the garage door open while we do it. I've learned to make all of my bbq faves inside in the oven. Its missing the smoke flavor....but still way better than the garbage they put out at the local bbq restaurant. (my theory on why that place is still open is because people in this area don't know what its supposed to taste like:haha:)
