Might as well buy it, if it turns out to be shit you just dispute the purchase and get your money back a few days later and they likely get their account shut down.

for all you dirt baggers out there. A great source of plant available calcium that does not raise the pH of your soil. Just take a couple dozen eggshells, grind em up in a coffee grinder or a mortar and pestle, let them dry for a good while, and stick em in a gallon of water for couple weeks. Boom, a gallon of calcium rich water.

powdered milk works too, but works best mixed into the soil.

the eggshells would help, but I have 25 gallons to calcify, and I have run into trouble time and again trying to mix organics with my nutes. It forms sediment, and feeds bacterial colonies. They are nice bacteria this time, but not always. They can make the pH buffer up or down depending on the bacteria.

Ive read about this but never tried it...might have to give it a go, because calcium is high demand in my close proximity led grows. Now if only my damn chickens would lay some eggs...lol...lean times in -25C

I get a slight slimy build up on roots. But i sprits that shit right off with a spray bottle.

That good bacteria?
Not brown or moldy looking. Usually kinda pale. But i thought it was bad. But sprays right off lol

It's usually fine. As long as it's not brown or mushy.a lot of the discoloration os from the calmag shit we use. Calcium is a BITCH in hydro because lowest pH availability is right at the highest pH availability for phosphorous. Thats why our nutes cost so damn much, they have to figure out how to suspend the calcium ions in a solution that does not have a pH limit.

Hell at that price honestly your getting your money’s worth just out of the pre fabricated plates. So really, you might as well give it a shot.

don't have that problem to the same extent in soil because it has a far far higher buffer capacity. The problem in soils is Sodium, it is a really big ion, and it effectivly blocks all the exchange sites for smaller ions like nitrogen which wants to run right through anyway.

I’ve got a lil bit of this rust colored spots going too. Growing in a coco, perlite mix. All this talk has me wanting those spots gone. I think I will recalibrate the blu lab pen tomorrow & test the coco in each pot.
