I believe it was @Feenix that suggested sprinkling a little oatmeal on the top of soil to encourage microbiol activity .

The best time is before you pot. In a bin or wheel barrel. Threw it on top of soil with worm castings, spray it moist and cover with anything light proof. I read it after reading Full Duplex's formula that called for rice baby cereal for the same purpose.after a couple days yall have micos to stir in.

Throw a cup or so of Basmati rice and 1/2 - 1 cup of oats in your soil and moisten it with some molasses water..I also add a few different mycos as well...If you make teas,when you are done,empty your tea bag into your soil mix.
