It's really not that heavy. 15-20 pounds, maybe?

I have a pot hanging rack like that, if I had another couple feet of ceiling height I would consider it, as it is, I'm trying to design them to get right up to ceiling as close as possible.

Heavy to me, and heavy to other people are two different things, So I'm probably completely wrong about what it weighs.

Mine will be lighter than an aluminum angle frame I bet. And I will love looking at it. There are few frames that pass the purty test to me. I have 2 6 foot aluminum tracks designed for pocket doors, and six rollers with ratchet hooks. I'm going to be able to hang them in multiple configurations. And with the sliding frame I will be able to adjust light separation by between 12 and 24 inches. Making my 6x4 area fully modular with less COB's

I'm thinking about doing something like that, that'll combine my led with the cobs I'm going to get, adjusted for appropriate distances between the two.
...just depends on how much of a "budget" my wife puts me on. I can probably sneak two from Bigsmo without her noticing...
Hell, there's a lot I want to do... Just gotta get my plants going before I get too invested. No need to fully automate everything, If nothing will grow due to one reason or another.

You know? why spend all the money for efficient lights and waste coverage power where it's not needed. You just ruin your efficiency. I've been frustrated by lighting frames since I started. They are all designed for standard tents and I don't need that.

That's a handsome light fixture ,,, can see it in a kitchen not sure many of tents would hold that wieght
Gave a meth-head $5 for it.
I'm either going to use the bottom section for lights in my tent, and set the rest aside, or I'll just hang it over the island I'm going to put in my kitchen once I'm sure the floor supports from the mid 1800s can handle the weight.
