I think on the medical side in the future, we're going to see a major lock down on what is allowed to be grown based on genetic registry. If it's not registered in an approved database and purchased from seed to sale from a licensed facility, it likely wouldn't be available for commercial sale. It's how the legal states tackle seed sales for recreational/home growing that is going to be interesting in my opinion. If seeds are required by law to be sold through a dispensary (dear lawmakers, we could use some clarification on seed sales to begin with,) I wonder if the same rules might try to apply for having them be registered genetics. No more selling Toby's Magical Auto's, they need to be Toby's Farm, LLC LIC# 1337 GEN-ID# TOBYSFARM-MAGAUTO.

Crystal ball into the future?

It's already a reality. There are several companies already providing genetic registry for cannabis strains. I hate to say it's a fad either, seems like a very stark reality in my opinion.

The TVA (largest US power company) has announced a rate hike for homeowners ad a discount for industrial and commercial power over a certain threshold of continuous use. The shit is going to hit the fan. @Arthur get ready because with these new tax laws and private money in out of state elections, the whole US is totally fueled for what you were saying. All it takes is the right/wrong domino to fall.
