If we were rich men we could make the past go away! '69 to '71 FBI chased my ass for 2 yrs, 2 counts violation of Selective Service Act of 1963. Had a woman, had a kid. On the lamb and sick of living like the "most wanted". Turned myself in knowing I was headed to fed prison for 2 years. But caught some Big slack from da judge. He said I was obviously C.O. status. At that time you had to be affiliated with a major religion. Pagan didn't fly. Got probation and work. Judge said after probation my record would be expunged. It wasn't and FBI won't let me buy guns legally. If I was rich and had a hired gun, lawyer, I could kick the FBI's butt all over court.

No you're not dude. Take care of it. What are you waiting for. Lawyer up, go clean, and move forward otherwise you're stuck in a time bubble. Before you do though, volunteer at the goodwill, Salvation Army, food bank, whatever. Courts LOVE people who've turned over a new leaf and do good work. Wait a few months, cut hair, shave, wear a suit, and show up with your lawyer. If you do, eventually you'll be licenced, otherwise, you never will.

Nothing worthwhile is easy. Nothing.

Buddy I am poor...i dont have money for lawyers....I am not a dope dealer, i dont sell all of that weed i grow...its gifted to hurting folks that are as screwed financially and physically as I am. Since i broke my neck at work 15 years ago I have been more than a little hurting for money. I do not have thousands of dollars to pay a lawyer to clear a bullshit charge.

It seems that our countries are very similar indeed...for those with money its all too easy to simply buy your way out of trouble.

In AK it was left to communities etc to make a lot of the rules...some were trying every way they could to be as restrictive as possible, after we voted to legalize
